Yu Xu first Chinese woman fighter pilot killed in crash... I read a story this morning that 30 year old Capt. Yu Xu was one of China's first female J-10 fighter pilots. She was a member of the air force aerobatics team and during a routine training flight Saturday, her aircraft after collided with another aircraft. Yu ejected from it, but her ejector seat was hit by another plane and she was killed. . |

Yu was the first of four women certified to fly the J-10 single-engine jet airplane.
