This time it's Leon Russell... I heard on the radio today that musician Leon Russell had passed away in his sleep Sunday November 13, 2016 at the age of 74. Reading about his career, I knew he was a session musician, but I didn't know he was in The Wrecking Crew or how much in demand he actually was in. Credits include 31 albums and recording nearly 430 songs. In 2011, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. . |

His actual cause of death is unknown. Over the years his health had declined and he was recovering from heart surgery in July earlier this year.
