iPhone X face recognition... One feature of the newly released iPhone (ten) is optical face recognition... 'Face ID' technology. You put the phone in scan mode, rotate your face so it captures a 3D image of the shape of your face/head. Now, you can use it to unlock your phone. Small glitch... it's not perfect. It's been tested with twins and consistently some can unlock their twins phone and consistently some cannot. . |

I found some YouTube videos with people making tests. If you have a twin you keep secrets from, I suggest you avoid use this feature.

I watched the Apple media presentation for the iPhone X and face ID failed to unlock the phone. The presenter had to resort to the backup plan of typing in the password.

I do not lock my phone, much much easier to use........

marry... most people lock their phones as they contain sensitive details that could be costly if they were to pass into the wrong hands. The last time I was in the phone store a guy was crying about 'having to turn off' all his online services because his stolen phone was hacked.
