Half-Mast... Most of the American flags in South Florida are flying at half-mast in mourning for the 17 students who lost their lives in a high-school shooting last week. .

Sad day indeed, Cruz was a troubled youth with a long documented history. His mother's recent death is my guess of what put him completely over the edge, couple that with his violence he ended up directing it upon ending 17 innocent lives and injuring countless others in the community. Just a point of clarification --> HALF-MAST is aboard ship, HALF-STAFF is upon land or a building. Let us all hope and pray the community heals somewhat, takes better notice to all the warning signs and acts on them expediently to prevent further loss of life. Unfortunately we cannot legislate evil out of the hearts of men and women.
