Cohen pleads guilty... News stories are popping up all over regarding Trump's long-time attorney Michael Cohen's plea of guilty yesterday in campaign finance violations and other charges. I had a chance to listen to Anderson Cooper's CNN show where he interviewed former Federal Prosecutor Jeffrey Toobin who was quoted "This is the first time since Watergate and perhaps even before Watergate that a federal guilty plea has taken place and the guilty person said 'I committed this crime with and for the president of the United States' if this were any other person given the evidence that was presented in court today, it seems to me a virtual certainty that Donald Trump would have been indited and charged too..." . |
