Bells and tips... something new on Asia Friend Finder I logged on this morning to see some website changes. The bell in the top row of menu selection now has a bell. Clicking it shows me things I already know about! Thanks for the bell... Coins for tops and sending gifts appears to be a new selection. I guess that's a reinvention of BLING. They have invented a new way to get money from members. . |

Not that it's wrong to bring in new revenue, we're all surprised this site hasn't closed their doors.

The bell was always there on my computer, but now there is a number signifying 18 new notifications but when I open it to check there is nothing new there, only older stuff and the number 18 doesn't go away after opening.....yet another annoyance.... I don't see the "Coins for tops and sending gifts" selection anywhere.

Hover the mouse over any profile photo on the main page and it will open a summary of the member. It's there.

I also figured out how to clear that 18 on the notifications bell. Click on in once then hover on the items in the list. An X will appear on the left to delete each item you hover on. But it will only display 4 at a time. If you click on the All Activity Notifications at the bottom of that window you will see more but there is no method to delete them from there. So if there are more than 4, you will need to close that window and reopen it to reveal 4 more. Wash, rinse, and repeat until all are cleared. Then I went into preferences and disabled all online notifications.

There is a another new "feature" When you open a profile, below their information is something called "Top Fan". It will cost you 50 points to use it. I guess it is somewhere between the "Hot List" and a "Flirt"

nothing new for me, still annoying emails from scammers telling me he is widower, kids died from car accidents 10 years ago.  .

yes I still have 1,969 points from creating blogs and blog comments and that's the maximum I can get. And I can still use it to send messages and look up profile. But I will never have enough to upgrade to Gold membership that requires 4,000 points. .

oh I have just given someone my points by 'Tips", so if anyone needs any points, please let me know I can 'Tip" them. .
