funny TRUMP things this this month...

Back when Dorian was a tropical storm, the original forecast was it would become a hurricane, head toward Florida then curve north along the east coast. All the models reflected this path.

Trump announced it would be a direct hit on Alabama. The weather center said no, but Trump insisted he was right and to prove his point, he went on TV showing an outdated map created from the NOAA website and on the outermost part of the projected cone someone with a black marker (Sharpie) added a path toward Alabama.

The internet went wild over this !!
Trump had Tweeted (some call it twitted) several times again how he was right.
Anyway, it's spawned several other images including a 'hole in one' probably because Trump played golf while Dorian, a category 5 storm at the time was whacking Bahamas.

It's amazing he's been in several public meetings stating he's never heard of, nor seen a category 5 storm before.
Do they exist?
.

That last photo was a hole-in-one Trump style!

Listen...we have Trudeau and though he is not a complete tool like Trump he is a lying, self serving politician...We have an election coming up and I am afraid Trudeau will win again as the alternatives don't bring much to the table..I for one am not voting for the dummy....As for you folks in the USA if George W Bush could get re-elected after starting a war he should not have (Iraq), there is a good chance you will get saddled with 4 more years of Trump...Good luck and try not to start WW3.

At ChineseForMe...watching the political boondoggles from up here in Canada, I always admired Obama. He was and still is a great orator, and I truly believe he did his damndest to to do right things for the USA, but the roadblocks and backroom politics left him incapable of doing anything. Too many politicians wanting to do what was right for them and them only to get re-elected rather than put your country first....After 8 years he should have laid the foundation...both parties should have worked together to make Ameriaca great, and not leave it to Trump (who at times says the right things, but not sure how genuine he actually is) and his actions leave little to be desired....Good conversation...don't really contribute to this forum but lets hope our countries get their heads out of their asses.

John, relax... you're wound too tight that you cannot accept someone poking fun at the stupid things Trump does. Seriously, are you proud that he doesn't know on his watch we had 2 category 5 hurricanes?
At one meeting they all sat there and smiled, yet no one would tell the emperor he didn't have any clothes on!!

the thing is that somehow this ubiquitous adversarial polarisation has to be reconciled. the divisions we see worldwide are like a virus, a deadly disease. We have to be able to accept others with different beliefs and still arrive at rational decisions together. I don't hate someone who loves guns, who loves Trump, I just want to find ways to choose the best outcomes together. Not being FOR someone does not mean always AGAINST

No one admitted to making a false statement warning people about a storm that didn't arrive.
