Gung Hay Fat Choy...

Chinese around the world are celebrating a year!
I'm told it's the year of the rat... okay and a week long celebration.

Depending on you ask, Gung Hay Fat Choy loosely translates : Congratulations make a fortune.

Kung Hei Fat Choy = Wishing you a prosperous year

next sentence following will be 'Hong Bao Na Lai ', getting ready your red envelope for the youngest and eldest in your families.

In tradition of my family, tonight will be annual dinner. Then we need to put red envelope underneath our pillows for a prosperous year. Tomorrow we all need to wear new clothes and new shoes including new underwear. New hairdo should have done before New Year day. New beddings and new pyjamas will be replaced too. Therefore, New year will bring new energy.

Hi Lily, she was on QQ last night texting family and friends.
Today she will help a girlfriend prepare foods for guests.
