I've checked with several retailers and their shelves for the Lysol disinfectant spray continue to remain empty. Also, toilet tissue is being hoarded.

As of Saturday morning, shelves are still bare. Wal-Mart had one case of Lysol spray on a pallet with shrink wrap waiting for the night crew to distribute. People were tearing the shrink wrap and pulling cans from boxes. The same for alcohol. Last night, I went to The Home Depot and one worker stocking shelves told me to come back at 6am as the night crew replenish stock for early morning. Not true for Lysol products and paper products. No paper towels and no toilet tissue.

c4m, I've heard in the States, people are fined for price gouging, especially in an emergency. What was the outcome of the Canadian couple?
