Tropical Storm Fred... The National Hurricane Center reported a Tropical Storm named Fred in the Caribbean headed for Florida. It was a small depression with winds not reaching more than 40 miles per hour. Promised rain was less than expected and Saturday the weather service declared the storm dissipated. I had a different opinion as the radar showed outer bands of rain still swirling. This morning, they 'brought back' Fred as a tropical storm and it's in the Gulf of Mexico headed toward Alabama. .

A few bands of rain passed through South Florida this morning and it's been cloudy all day. In a few days there is another storm approaching. Tropical Depression Grace.
