One Week Until I Go to Asia I'm flying off to Hong Kong in exactly one week. The plan is much as before: after staying in Hong Kong for a few days, I will go to Shenzhen and Guangzhou. Then, I will go to Sichuan before going to Shanghai. After that, I'm off to Japan, then fly back to Hong Kong for a few days before returning to Canada. In total, I'll be in Asia 33 days. |

Good for you! Just be warned: It will be beastly hot and humid there. You really won't be ready for it until it hits you in the face, slaps you silly and then kicks you while you are down. Bring a lot of light weight cotton clothing. Even silk is too heavy. Have fun! China is beautiful.

TN: yes, my path isn't geographically optimal, but it saves me some money and gives me added flexibility. Glassman: I've been to Asia during summer before. I know what to expect. I actually don't mind the heat too much.
