Do you see "lie" hiding inside of "believe"?

Do you see the word "lie" hiding inside of "beLIEve"? Can you believe a lie?

Even "Friend" can be "End"

"Lover" can be "Over"

Before you "Forget", you first have to "Get".

The Earth without "Art" will be just Eh.

Well for 'lesson 1 - Introduction to the Dutch language', this is not a bad start, except for the pronunciation of the word 'geloven', which I am afraid, will leave you with a sore throat. ;(

To add a philosophical twist to this issue, in my language (Dutch) to beLIEve is 'geLOVEn'.
Am I now to beLIEve that those who LIE LOVE, or am I to 'geLOVEn' that those who LOVE LIE? Either way does it take a lie to love and/or love to lie?
No...... there is still hope: beLIEVE in Dutch is 'BELOVED' in English. The 'truth as always lies' in between, Oops.........

I have been on several online dating sites for near 5 & 1/2 years and encountered so many cheaters. Because the easy access of internet, people lie about their age, job, location, financial, marriage status or even gender, use other's photo, ethnicity,.....etc. Most people posted YOUNGER age, far distance, better financial to attract or allure their victims. I am a positive and trustworthy person, but in this fast moving cyberspace, it is very difficult to trust people. I have reported and blocked so many perpetrators. I learned along the way and use my intelligence to identify their profiles true or false. Some people can do anything to get MONEY. Watch out !! I always ask their real names and Google their names before I go out to meet them. Better safe than sorry.

You know I do agree with you, there are a lot of fakes online, but you shouldn't let it affect your heart.

Just be realistic, and don't fall for sweet words.

That's an interesting way to look at things, but to me it seems too pessimistic.
