laogui

You are an Aussie. The recent hostage siege for 16 hours happened at a business cafe in Sydney. The gunman was also a ruthless Islam extremist.

Today another news from Pakistan that Taliban militants entered a school and killed 145 students, mostly children.

I don't understand those brutal ISIS, militants, extremists, ... What's going on in their minds? We can't reason with them. So, I won't travel there. I choose Australia and New Zealand. At least, people speak English, so we can communicate.

2014 is almost over. Hope we can have a better year in 2015.

Happy holidays !!

The former president of Iran was open in his desire for nuclear war. He thought that Muslims would be able to rise supreme from the ashes of world-wide devastation and disruption to become the world's dominant religion. A world ruler who who believes nuclear war is to his advantage, and who does not care about the consequences, is a dangerous thing.

The people of Iran elected a more moderate president (or at least as moderate as the Ayatollah would allow) and this has been averted for the time being. In fact, if allowed, the people of Iran would probably elect any western-leaning politician if this would give them more freedom and help rebuild the economy.
If the new leader can stay in power, he may be able to bring about change. the previous leader has a big chip on his shoulder, (maybe it was a log) this current leader seems to be wiser and understand that if they don't work as a partner with the global system, they will find themselves on the short end of the stick...

I find it amazing how some of these countries still function in parts like its still the 16th Century or so.

I asked my three male friends who I have known for many years about the current world events, the same 4 questions. I would like to share with you one of them email. To protect my friends identity and reputation, I can't reveal their names, jobs, ... They are NOT on AFF.

ISIS is impossible to understand. They want to kill everybody who doesn't agree with them. Obama can't do anything about this group. I think ISIS will take over Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. They are ferocious and they think God or Allah is on their side!

Again, US can't do anything. Israel is supported by the US but they are never asked to do what is needed for peace. If we pulled the plug on giving them weapons then there would be peace since they can't kill these babies without our support.

Russia will not invade Ukraine! The sanctions will work. Putin is a jerk but he is not STUPID.

Ebola is scary! 1,000 people have died and countless more will die. I personally feel that the Ebola virus should be identified and we should give the virus to the ISIS group.

I wrote him back as follow:

Those ISIS are extremist and loyal to their religion, Islam/Muslim. They strongly believe their religion, their God, Allah is the only true God, that craziness of religion make them so cruel to other religions especially to Christians. To us, they are crazy, but they think they are "martyrdom". We don't understand them, they don't understand us. They kill any people that are NOT Islam/Muslim. They enjoy killing. It is "human havoc", destruction, tragedy and catastrophe. Their atrocities are notorious cruel.

I saw no peace in Gaza any day soon. Again, another religion differences in between Israel and Palestinian/Hamas. U.S. support Israel because we have Christian belief. Israel leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, has studied architecture at MIT and political science at Harvard, so he knows how to talk with USA. Israel attacked Gaza Strip because Hamas built tunnels underground and shooting rackets that made Israelis unease. However, the world sees the death toll in Gaza exceeded 1,900 and Israel soldiers death is only 64, so sympathized Gaza civilians and condemn Israel. U.S. always on Israel side forever. Again, this is also another religion differences.

As Russia, U.S. joined with Europe countries sanction, NOT to buy "crude oil" from Russia. Putin countered sanction by NOT to buy agricultural products from U.S. or any country that sanction Russia. I noticed that Obama didn't go to Russia for Winter Olympics this year, long before Russia interfered Ukraine started.

Ebola outbreak is just add another tragedy to the already messiness. There are near 1,000 people died from Ebola in West Africa. There are no known vaccine or treatments available yet, so
hospitals only can isolate Ebola patients from public - Quarantine.

Honesty is the best policy.

Interesting comment.

"we have to be prepared to use force with Russia and Obama is not"..

I thought you were from Canada... ? Why is'nt the Canadian Government prepared to use force against Russia? Why would Canadians be eager to see the U.S. put forth the troops, spend the money and engage in all that war becomes. When Canada would like to sit back, do nothing and claim it self neutral feeling assured that the U.S. will fight the battles to keep Canada safe and uninvolved?

I find that absolutely AMAZING ....

President Obama is smart enough not to embroil America too deep while others sit back and do nothing, He also knows not to jump to the same level of war games, that a proven warmonger loves. Nope, you don't go to war with Russia, you put the sanction on them, and if the other 'countries uphold and support the sanctions, then the loss $'s will eventually make Russia realize what it is current ignoring. Russia has enough criminals in their midst, that if Putin's actions cost them too much losses they will dismiss him themselves, by bullet or otherwise.

Thank goodness, that President Obama is in office at this critical time, because he is not the 'war - mongering type". He looks for diplomacy and diplomatic process and the many other tools that are available. If only the other countries would step up to the plate and at the very least be vocal about their disdain and opposition to the actions of Putin. But as with Canada, many countries will do nothing and say nothing, and wait for an opportunity to profit or be protected rather than to stand up and have a voice and stand behind that voice.

The problem is: When President GW. Bush invaded Iraq, it was predicated on a massive lie. Saddam had complied with UN Inspectors, but he also had long time told President GW. Bush, that it may not fit the western ideal, but the gun, showing of wealth and hard line stands was necessary to hold Iraq together with the various factions at play in the nation. He also told them of the reforms he was making and that it would take a LONG TIME, because changing the hearts and minds of people to accept more liberal practices was not an easy nor quick undertaking. What President GW. Bush failed to grasp was the fact that Saddam had worked through much trial and tribulation to become leader, and he knew the nature of the people, their converging ideologies and the strong arm acts and tactics that it takes to keep them in line. He tried to tell President GW. Bush, they need him more than the know.

We in the West think we can export Western Democracy every place, and that simply is not the case. We've seen for decades people on a daily basis rallying in the streets in many of these countries, throwing rocks. Hell, they will create a mob in the flash of a moment and draw thousands of people to join in. Currently, we have not see a day go by that 20 or more people are not blown up in some explosion. Therefore, if these people are willing to blow up their own countrymen, including women and children, they have not remorse mentality about it.
any factions that believes in Martyrdom is already leading to some frame of madness and violence. Martyrdom itself is a driving force.

Martyrdom = a display of feigned or exaggerated suffering to obtain sympathy or admiration. Including, that of inflicting suffering upon others.

It's a sick process of system that glorifies this. The part that is more insidious, this is taught to them in their Religious Factions aims to groom them to be in pursuit of this policy of madness.

You can't kill that with a gun, nor bombs. They refuse education and many of the radical factions will destroy any aims to set up education facilities, EXCEPT the ones that teach this Martyrdom madness.

It is nothing more than extreme vanity, to want admiration so desperately that one would choose to pursue it by these means.

We may not like the alternative, which might include wiping out the mass of those who pursue this ideology, but is there any means short of such? They seem to be driven to destroy anything which offers to bring educations to enlighten the people to understand that Martyrdom is a sickness of Vanity Madness. painted under a banner and used by those who seek to make malice driven use of others for their Avarice mentality for power and control.

Sad as it may result to be, one day there may be a message for the non radicals to flee the areas, in prep for a N bomb to be dropped on the masses who submit to this radicalism. The sad thing is, if one of these countries get that capability they may try and exchange of such weapons uses.

But I think the Global community at some point may have their hand forced to wipe out of ban this religious ideology and certainly to ban it from within their borders.

More and more nations are finding sleepers, who live to plot with hopes to maime and kill many. It is only a matter of time, before they strike the wrong country. Because not all countries play the humanitarian game the West Plays. There are countries that will blow these people off the map of life and think nothing of doing so, if one of these Martyrdom seeking groups do something that damages many people and impact a nations society and its systems.

I think China, just may be one of the countries that will take stern action if they come to China and do something truly horrific. I don't see Russia tolerating it either. I'm sure there are other countries who have plans already drawn up for just such scenario's.

something in the weapons selling arena has to change, but the sad part is there are so many weapons already in the hands of many radicals, it will take a decade before they use up what they current have. and within that time it will take a global effort to try and reel in the manufactures of these weapons to have full accountability of what they produce and sell. (that's the hard part, because these producers and selling have no sense of human regard, they only want "money".)

I read something a year of so ago, that one young Muslim wrote, which said that the demise of the religion would one day come, because it is not a religion that respects the lives of the human being.
President GW. Bush should have understood better what Saddam was saying, because if only he had looked at America, and its racial ignorance, he know, that to wipe out mindsets takes a very long time. Here we are more than 150 yrs since the Emancipation Proclamation and within that 50 yrs since the Civil Rights Act and racism is still strong and rides the undercurrents of this society with as much discord in attitudes among some, who hold the same vile they held 150 yrs ago, and some hold the same attack something mentality they held 50 yrs ago.
Heck, we still have a mass of people, who yearly Celebrate the Civil War even after knowing the vile that brought that war to exist.
So, how do we demand something of Iraq an the Muslims that we have not fixed in this nation when it comes to race relations.

One poster claimed We should remember the past so as not to repeat it, but then attack any discussion about the history of racism and its current day realism.

Obviously we must live with today's reality, but in hindsight the world today might be a safer place if Saddam Hussien had been left to continue his sporadic war with Iran. Who knows, Iraq and Iran would still be economic and military equals and continue to hurl scud missiles at each other and try and ruin each others economy. Certainly Iran would not have been able to develop nuclear weapons. Both countries would have effectively nuetralised each other with no capacity to make trouble for anyone else.

Of course, Hussien miscalculated by going a step too far and invading Kuwait. If he had kept his military for Iran he would probably have once again become a darling of the west.

ISIS rapidly accumulating cash, weapons, U.S. intelligence ...

We left 52 American-made Artillery Weapons that cost $500,000 each equals to 26 millions of weapons for ISIS. Why didn't we ship them back? We spent trillions dollars for the war in Iraq, hundred soldiers died and injured. Is these all worth?

Every Weapons Manufacturer MADE A FORTUNE sending weapons, munitions and other war supplies to Iraq over the decade plus of war. It was a profiteering windfall for these manufacturers. Some of the same weapons were staged and left in place, even when it was known that Iraq did not have a stable enough military to manage, control or protect these weapons.

The world won't open its eyes to the fact which it knows. Saudi Arabia has been funding much of this fighting for the past Decade or so of high conflict,. but everyone wants to close their eyes to this element. More weapons deals are made in the Money Capital of the Gulf, in Dubai and most of the world players know it. They can go there, strike deals and do what ever they want in this line of activity, because there is no extradition treaty with Dubai.
There is the Money shuffling, OIL Grabs and Power Games, which dominates this region, it is not likely to go away any time soon. They can play up the Religious Fanaticism for the next 100 yrs, while these power brokers trade Money with each other and push their power game back and forth. They know the people are gullible, and the rest of the world gets caught up in the drama, which makes for a smoke screen to hide the true culprits.
Take down the circle of Sheiks and their network and much of this stuff would vanish. Unfortunately, the Sheiks system not is like any other Mobster Network.. chop off one head and 10 more spring up.
It's no different than the Drug game, at one time it was the Colombians, and when the pressure and killing took down their Chiefs,it simply switched to another country. At one time, any country in the Central American regional expanse, was a big time player in the Drug game.
Ronald Reagan played in the game as well, when he did the Drug profit angle to buy weapons and do business with Iran, while claiming to support Iraq..

There is the Money Shuffling, OIL Grabs and Power Games. All nations are players in the game, even those one who claim to be so peaceful on the surface, they are there underwriting what ever they can if there is profit to be had.

I don't know any nation without a mass of automobiles, power generation system for public utilities and what ever else they use oil fuel to support, including their transportation system and its many variables along with Industry an everything else that uses energy.. These nations are in it as well, because no nation is energy independent.

When President Obama tried to promote solar, wind and other types of energy, the big energy profiteers lined up and bought up the republicans to insure none of those programs would spread nationwide and become dominant in communities.

Even back when President Carter tried to promote solar, Reagan came in and dismantled all of that.

"
Jimmy Carter delivered this televised speech on April 18, 1977.

Tonight I want to have an unpleasant talk with you about a problem unprecedented in our history. With the exception of preventing war, this is the greatest challenge our country will face during our lifetimes. The energy crisis has not yet overwhelmed us, but it will if we do not act quickly.

It is a problem we will not solve in the next few years, and it is likely to get progressively worse through the rest of this century.

We must not be selfish or timid if we hope to have a decent world for our children and grandchildren.

We simply must balance our demand for energy with our rapidly shrinking resources. By acting now, we can control our future instead of letting the future control us.
"

We will feel mounting pressure to plunder the environment. We will have a crash program to build more nuclear plants, strip-mine and burn more coal, and drill more offshore wells than we will need if we begin to conserve now. Inflation will soar, production will go down, people will lose their jobs. Intense competition will build up among nations and among the different regions within our own country.

If we fail to act soon, we will face an economic, social and political crisis that will threaten our free institutions.

But we still have another choice. We can begin to prepare right now. We can decide to act while there is time.

That is the concept of the energy policy we will present on Wednesday. Our national energy plan is based on ten fundamental principles.

The first principle is that we can have an effective and comprehensive energy policy only if the government takes responsibility for it and if the people understand the seriousness of the challenge and are willing to make sacrifices.

The second principle is that healthy economic growth must continue. Only by saving energy can we maintain our standard of living and keep our people at work. An effective conservation program will create hundreds of thousands of new jobs.

The third principle is that we must protect the environment. Our energy problems have the same cause as our environmental problems -- wasteful use of resources. Conservation helps us solve both at once.

The fourth principle is that we must reduce our vulnerability to potentially devastating embargoes. We can protect ourselves from uncertain supplies by reducing our demand for oil, making the most of our abundant resources such as coal, and developing a strategic petroleum reserve.

The fifth principle is that we must be fair. Our solutions must ask equal sacrifices from every region, every class of people, every interest group. Industry will have to do its part to conserve, just as the consumers will. The energy producers deserve fair treatment, but we will not let the oil companies profiteer.

The sixth principle, and the cornerstone of our policy, is to reduce the demand through conservation. Our emphasis on conservation is a clear difference between this plan and others which merely encouraged crash production efforts. Conservation is the quickest, cheapest, most practical source of energy. Conservation is the only way we can buy a barrel of oil for a few dollars. It costs about $13 to waste it.

The seventh principle is that prices should generally reflect the true replacement costs of energy. We are only cheating ourselves if we make energy artificially cheap and use more than we can really afford.

The eighth principle is that government policies must be predictable and certain. Both consumers and producers need policies they can count on so they can plan ahead. This is one reason I am working with the Congress to create a new Department of Energy, to replace more than 50 different agencies that now have some control over energy.

The ninth principle is that we must conserve the fuels that are scarcest and make the most of those that are more plentiful. We can't continue to use oil and gas for 75 percent of our consumption when they make up seven percent of our domestic reserves. We need to shift to plentiful coal while taking care to protect the environment, and to apply stricter safety standards to nuclear energy.

The tenth principle is that we must start now to develop the new, unconventional sources of energy we will rely on in the next century.

I am outrage about ISIS violence and atrocities in Iraq. Every time I saw those ISIS on TV waved those machine guns, shooting to sky, yelling and shouting, I just got furious. I was thinking and wondering WHO provided (or sell) those weapons to ISIS??? Without weapons, ISIS is NOTHING. I couldn't get answer, so I Google "How ISIS get weapons"?? Here are some of the links I found on Google. I was mad when I read "ISIS militants captured 52 American-made Artillery Weapons that cost $500,000 each. Shame on us, how can we left weapons in Iraq and created this "human disaster"???? Tell me WHY???? ISIS use those American-made weapons to attack innocent civilians??? OMG !! What mistake we have done !!!

There's An Inescapable Paradox About The US Fighting ...

Where are Islamic militants in Iraq getting their weapons ...
ISIS Has 52 American Weapons That Could Pummel Cities ...
Isis seizes former chemical weapons plant in Iraq | World ...

Who provide (or sell) weapons for ISIS? Stop that provider is the fast way to stop violence and atrocities. Without weapons, ISIS or Nigeria militants, or Hamas can't kill. Every time I saw those ISIS militants wave their machine guns shooting to sky, yelling and shouting, I just got furious.

We know there are different nations, religions, education level, .... Men are NOT created equal and NEVER will. History tell us there were so many "WAR" in the past and will be in the future. I am NOT pessimistic but violence will go on and on. Unless we stop making weapons, we can't have PEACE.

To SteveMercer & RYouThe1

Maybe these three things (education, wealth and opportunities) can help bring us toa more peaceful world.

Of course, Education, Wealth & Opportunities can help, you know that, I know that, everyone knows. But can you educate ISIS, Hamas, or Pro-Russia Separatists,..... Hmmmm maybe Putin too????? How can you educate those people violent such as ISIS, Hamas, militants, ...... Putin graduated from the International Law branch of the Law Department of the Leningrad State University in 1975. He is educated but he has different thought than you and me. How can you change violent people? Can you go to Iraq to persuade ISIS or go to Gaza talk to Hamas, ... tell them put the weapons down, don't kill people, .... Can you reason with them?

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has been the President of Russia since 7 May 2012. He previously served as President from 2000 to 2008, and as Prime Minister of Russia from 1999 to 2000 and again from 2008 to 2012. So, Putin is educated, wealthy and had very good opportunities. Could you please persuade him NOT attack Ukraine? If you can, Obama will hire you as Secretary of State.

Things are NOT as easy as you thought. Please believe me I want this world peaceful and safe. I don't own any gun or weapon and NEVER hurt anyone physically. But I know we can't educate all the people and can't reason with them. That the way it is. Your hope can't come true.

Honesty is the best policy.

I don't know what are you talking about. Nothing involved sex at all and all of the tragedies are still on going and even getting worse. Let's discuss them.

    1. We haven't found Malaysia missing plane. Presumably they are all dead. The victims family demand to see their relatives' bodies.
    2. We haven't rescued those 200+ schoolgirls that been kidnapped by Nigeria's militant Islamist. The longer we wait, the worse will be. We all have families, how can we NOT care about them?
    3. ISIS attacked and occupied more cities in Iraq and killed more people in execution style. Some photos were too brutal to show on TV. Those ISIS are NOT human, they are animal.
    4. Pro-Russia Separatists shot down commercial airplane killed all passengers and crew on board and happened to Malaysia Airline and most of passengers are Dutch. Europeans are furious so they have sanction against Russia. They don't want to buy "crude oil" from Russia.
    5. Israel launched fire in Gaza, killed thousand innocent civilians. Hamas built tunnels underground that made Israel unease. I don't see the battles will be ended soon. 72 hour ceasefire is just temporary method, soon they will bomb again. The death toll will go even higher. (NOT smaller scale)
    6. Ebola disease is an invisible disease. You don't who around you got Ebola already. Ebola already took 600+ people lives in Africa. (NOT smaller scale) Travelers can't go there (Visa won't be approved).
    7. Yunnan Province earthquake has taken away from the first hour of 28 casualty to now 600+. China has large population and live in a high density area. (NOT smaller scale)

The bad news are keep coming. You never know if another war/battle or tragedy will happen somewhere tomorrow.

These are the headline things... If we look very closely we will begin to see all the underlying things which drive these items to become more expansive.

Take for instance : 6. Ebola disease is an invisible disease.

Why is not the world community of nation on-board as a collective to address this matter with unending dedication to teamwork and address this.

Equally so, the other aforementioned items.

I don't claim nor blame for the U.S. solely for the issues of Russia, or the ISIS. Because many of the other nations are involved either directly or covertly in various ways. What ever other nations expect the U.S. to do, then they need to step up themselves to equal measure of responsibility and resource support to deal with things.

Some nations only sent token forces and resources into Iraq and Afghanistan, and the same with the Israel and Garza issue.. It was the collective at the End of Work War II that put the Jewish people in the created land of today's Israel .. Then if there is a problem in the area, then the world body who supported this should also be equally so standing to insure that Israel does not encroach on land it was not given. but equally so, there was no plan to help build up Palestinian lands, with the same world support that went into building up Israel.
There are many things a 'COLLECTIVE OF NATIONS CAN DO'...

We need to re-think what is the United Nations. and we need to give them the force of power it needs to what its role should be to do. Stand together to diminish conflict.

We have so called educated people, who always resort to " playground fighting".. Where is the intellect.. where is the so called message that is given to children.. Telling them> Not to try and settle difference with violence"... Yet, as Adults we sent these people to thing like the UN and within nations the Congress. and they all lean to " playground fighting when they don't get their way"..
We wonder why the youth are quick to fight, when we have the old men who fill these leadership roles, are quick to engage in a fight, as long as it is not they themselves who head to the battle field. It is always the young who are sent to die for the decisions of old foolish men, who failed to use reasons, diplomacy and fair play in their dealings.

We know 'weapons sales" is the biggest business on the planets, everything else comes in at a far distant second. President Eisenhower warned President Kennedy, to beware of the Military Industrial Complex, and not to let it have undue influence at home or abroad. President Eisenhower knew the horrors of war and the end result is always a lot of mass destruction. he also knew the profiteers were always the Military Industrial Complex, followed by Bankers and Big Oil and the Likes of the collateral components that work in concert with the Military Industrial Complex. But its not only America who got lost in the clouds built up by Military Industrial Supply Chains, it is most nations, those who produce and those who buy... Once a generation of weapons have saturated the landscape, the only want to introduce the next generation and profit, is to have conflict to use up the stuff people have stockpiled and then re-supply them with new generation weaponry.

We see it, but we want to pretend its fiction, until conflict rages and people die, but we watch it for 45 seconds on the news, and then a commercial comes on, and we then get flipped to a non-descript line of media drama of another sort, with tid bit flashes of the conflict. Followed by the "talking head" who get paid to put on a media bicker fest, to further confuse the masses.
It won't change until people ( the world over) become more discerning, about how they ingest what they watch and what they hear. We have such a dis-array of education levels, which feed into the ignorance of interpretations. Until we play 'Selective Amnesia", to avoid addressing and working to resolve the underlying problems.

Then comes the biggie, IDEOLOGICAL MADNESS CONFLICT. Sadly, drive by too much and too many religious zealots... and the craziness of religions trying to impose systems that controls women, and then tries to control the masses into a submissive cycle of ritualism. while a few gain power over many....

We as a global people have so much work to do, to evolve to truly be capable of advancing as a collective. Until it may come that a great disaster may befall the world, before there is an awakening.

In my opinion, U.S. joined with European to have economically sanctions against Russia is correct. We may need to use diplomatic measure too, but never use military action to escalate the situation. Today Russian President Vladimir Putin has banned or curbed agricultural imports from countries imposing sanctions on Russia over the crisis in Ukraine.

As Israel and Hamas battles, the people live in Gaza is caught in between two enemies seem can't agree in ceasefire. Gaza civilians should move out far away to prevent more casualty. Arabs and Israel have religion hostility.for generations. Muslims can't get along with Jewish. Hamas has dig the tunnels underground for over a decade to launch rockets that became a threat to Israel. U.S. believed in Israel self-defense fight back. Obama said he sympathizes Israel and doesn't believe in Hamas. However, Gaza residents are caught in between. U.N. persuaded Israel and Hamas to have 72 hour ceasefire, but this is only temporary measure.

As ISIS terrorists in Iraq is the worst. They are notorious brutal. I don't know who provided weapons for those ISIS terrorists. Why U.N. or Iraq government can't stop their atrocities.

Ebola virus is a invisible killer. It has spread out in West Africa and today one victim died in Saudi Arabia. Ebola, a viral hemorrhagic fever, is one of the deadliest diseases known to humans, with a fatality rate of up to 90%. The only way is to isolate the patients from others - Quarantine.

After two tragedies, the stock price of Malaysia Airline dropped to 17 cents per share. Malaysia government won't let the company file bankruptcy, but stockholders became "victims" too. 17 cents a share is too low, every stockholder is loser. Of course, the passengers' families will ask for compensation and no new passengers to take their plane to travel. I don't know how long they can hold on.

We can't control the natural disasters such as earthquakes or typhoon, but humans should have humanity, NOT to kill. Follow the Golden rule "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you".

Honesty is the best policy.

One items is: We all have gravitated to cities, no longer do people use their land for food or such things. We have people who OWN 10's of thousands of acres, and nothing grows on it, no farm animals graze on it and in cities, we have massive suburban areas, where many of don't grow anything.
We got duped as a people into relying solely on Industry, and the independent small business were wiped to a low level. We have very limited repair shops, 'we've made everything disposable', unaware that to dispose of it, continuances the soil and that contamination will get into the ground water. We waste natural resource by using them to make 'disposable things, rather than "repairable things"... Decades ago, most industries counted 'spare parts" as a big part of their over-all sales and distribution products. Long ago, every city had many many repair persons, who raised families, and helped support communities by repairing units and things. I think we allowed the MBA madness to decimate us as a society, with their training to try and get 3000% from every penny. We see it in the stock market, which expects records to be broken each day, until it has absolutely nothing to do anymore with actual production and sales, except to speculate about future sales and replacement sales, until we have stock trading upwards from 300% over actual performance value, and we have people who use to be productive and profitable business if they made 45-65% profit margin. Now if people can't make 3000% profit margin, nothing is produced. By the time it does get to the consumer, the quality is so low, because the mark up is so high, until any quality that goes in comes as a excess premium, and often is only on the surface, when the core still being made with the cheapest components and materials. FORCING RAPID REPURCHASING.

Our next delusions is media hype, so much is promoted as if everyone has to live a live of opulence and luxury, its so bad, until people can't and don't even consider dating and mating unless first the money is measured and the type of entertainment and gifts come from places with marquee names at over inflated cost.

We take this same stuff and drive ourselves to look down on others who don't have it., we draw divide lines between ourselves and those who don't have it. Then we become depressed and desperate to get it, and once its attained and found not to be what it was thought, the desperation simply goes into another pursuit. It becomes, vanity and greed in every form it can manifest itself.
We have people who will kill the whole family because they can't and don't have the means to live the TV imagery of life. We have couples who split because of money, more than any other reasons.

and we wonder why the world is crazy, it starts within the individuals, and within the communities, the cities, the states and the nations.... We have become insatiable... nothing is enough, to the point we don't even like our natural looks, we try and deny the fact that we age, and we seem to go to any dire extreme to try and control these things.

We want what other lands have of resources, but we don't want to pay them a fair share for it, We look about the world, for slave labor by preying on the next nation that is struggling, and when that nations gets a leg up, it too looks for other nations to prey on for slave wage labor.

The wealthy fight about controlling resources, therefore they will back any faction which promises to afford access. When they can't deliver, we back the other side, with the same aim and the same claim and when they can't deliver, we flip back to support the other side and the circle is non ending.. While conflict rages, the wealthy slip in and buy up the spoils and eventually they control the masses.

We have issue here in America, we never tried to do for Latin America what we have done for Japan, nor what we have done for China. We went into those lands and helped in every way to build them up, as long as we could control much and get what we wanted, When each land got strong enough to stand, they kicked us to the curb and in part they too are not seeking to do the same things we did, by their looking to other nations for cheap labor and raw materials.

The cycle does not end when greed is a driver, riding under the banner of survival.

The world can sustain all that God natural created, it is the greed, waste and abuse by man which tries to claim what the earth can't support. It has and is supporting it now. It can and will support more if mankind was wise enough to work together, care for mankind and the earth as one.

We don't know the scope of human potential, because we often will kill it in search to try and gain control over others. and this is taking place both within nations and across the span from nation to nation.

........ and to what end... ?? so a few can live in wasteful opulence.

I have a PhD physicist friend who replied my email about this article I posted here. He is a very intelligent and 100% atheist. Here is what he said to me.

We have some work to do before peace....

Get people to shift their faith to science and the scientific method....

Get people to realize that it is one planet, and cooperation is better than murderous competition.

Use science to bring food to the table of everyone, and good health, too.

That would be a start...

Honesty is the best policy.

Mankind's aim for power & money driven by greed, bring a level of avarice and many other things to feed discontent.
It's really insane.
