I am NOT a snob. Everything based on the person's personality and intelligence. That's how I choose a guy. It is about the "WHOLE PACKAGE". I certainly don't want to marry a "weak" person again. I've been there, done that. I made poor judgement to marry a Taiwanese licensed dentist and gave him "Green Card", S.S. card, US.citizen, helped him in every way I could, but he put his income $2 a month as a self-employed dentist. The only good thing is I have a smart daughter from him.

In June 2007, the banker told me to sell property, I did sold property at high for profits. I met him for lunch in Sept 2011, he said time to buy properties in Las Vegas, so I did buy 5 properties. When I came back from Las Vegas, I emailed him that I bought 5 houses in Vegas. He replied "you are the QUEEN of Las Vegas". The typical Caucasian humor.

I trust his advices from time to time. "Trust" is very important. He knows I am smart, NOT a scammer.

The wisdom and knowledge of financial. My banker friend know HOW to invest and WHEN to invest. His advices have been very good for me. No, he never gave me any money but only advices. I know how to use his wisdom and knowledge. I listened very well what he said.

I don't think these money considerations are the best scenario for finding a mate, a friend or such... One has to get to know the person and be sincerely interested in the "individual"...

I've never cared about what money a woman has or does not have, its basically irrelevant to me. I do however, care that she is interested in working. I just don't see where I need a woman who does nothing all day.

laogui:

I used to have a pen-pal who is a Malaysia Chinese came to study at National Univ. of Taiwan (the best in Taiwan). He later came to Canada studied at McGill University for his master and PhD degrees before 1980. He wrote letters and took 7 - 10 days to arrive Taiwan. I wrote letters to Canada, he got it in 7 - 10 days. I only met him twice (in Taiwan and Los Angeles). The 2nd meet, he just went back to Hong Kong and married his girlfriend and met me at LAX (airport) then they went to Canada. So, I know it regular mail took long time. My aunt family came to USA when I was 4th going 5th grade (I was 10 or 11 y/o), every letter took 7 - 10 days by Air-Mail.

I was very happy in Taiwan when I received those mails from Canada and USA.

I have dated an attorney whose profile only has one sentence "Most of my money are in Real Estate".

He said he already prepared "Will", "Living Trust" for his family. So, he will ask his future wife to sign "pre-nup" and those properties he owns before the marriage belong to his children, so the wife can't get anything when he passes. Rich people are smart and they know how to protect their wealth. Scammers won't get anything.

He show-off his two houses to me. One in San Marino that worth $8 millions and one in Pasadena worth $4 millions. (I don't know is true or not) However, I don't like his personality, so after 2 meets, then said goodbye. Attorneys know how to talk, I will never win in a debate. I won't put myself in "weak situation".

The banker once emailed (when I mentioned in 2012 election, I have to work 181 years full time pharmacist job to make up 1 year of Mitt Romney's 1 yr income). The banker replied "you have a roof over your head, a car takes you to wherever you want to go, meals on the table. You are more fortunate than the most of people in the world."

The banker has never told me how much he makes, but in that email he slipped his mouth. He said "I have never made 21 million a year but I made a couple of millions. Aha, he said it. That's how I know.

Once there was an university student asked Warren Buffett "What is the most important investment in life?"

Warren Buffett answered "Marriage".
