7 days of Laughter - Friday

FRIDAY

A Doctor was addressing a large audience in Tampa .

'The material we put into our stomachs is enough to have killed most of us sitting here, years ago.

Red meat is awful. Soft drinks corrode your stomach lining. Chinese food is loaded with MSG.

High fat diets can be disastrous, and none of us realizes the long-term harm caused by the germs in our drinking water. However, there is one thing that is the most dangerous of all and we all have eaten, or will eat it. Can anyone here tell me what food it is that causes the most grief and suffering for years after eating it?'

After several seconds of quiet, a 75-year-old man in the front row raised his hand, and softly said, ‘Wedding Cake.'

Yes, Chinese like to use MSG and there was reported done by U.S. government with scientific evidence and posted on newspaper that MSG can cause many side effects (couple decades ago). My many Chinese friends also have the same problems and complains, so now most Chinese restaurants posted a sign "No MSG".

To your surprise, this 7 days laughter is from a Caucasian American, a PhD physicist, UCLA (University of California Los Angeles) graduated. He was born in USA for many generations, a very knowledgeable scientist. His brother is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant).

After I ate out at Chinese restaurants, my lips felt numb, tingling and slightly puffy then I know they put MSG. Some Chinese restaurants wash dishes in the same sink together, not high temperate as most American restaurants quality - in dishwasher (high temperature dry up dishes).

After my divorce, I mostly eat at American / Mexican/ Italian/ Japanese restaurants depends on my mood. No, I don't like hamburgers, but like steaks. I feel safe if the dishes are hot (high temperature kills Hepatitis B bacteria/virus). Chinese like to make money by skipping many procedure that not meet government standards. Most Chinese restaurants put a sign say "CASH only" to avoid paying tax. They charge us "sales tax" but not entering to cash register and NOT paying sales tax to government. That is the common practice among Chinese restaurants. Kitchens are dirty too.

I rather pay higher price to get honest and cleaner restaurants.
