Why Trump might fire Jeff Sessions and Robert Mueller?

The White House says it will reach a decision "soon" on US Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who has been publicly humiliated by President Donald Trump.

In a Twitter onslaught, Mr Trump called the country's top prosecutor "weak", a day after labeling him "beleaguered".

Mr Trump has said he is unhappy with Mr Sessions for recusing himself from an FBI inquiry into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Mr Sessions said last week he intended to stay in his post.

"Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!" Mr Trump tweeted on Tuesday.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why do Donald Trump and his advisors keep floating the possibility of firing Robert Mueller, an act that would spark the greatest constitutional crisis since Watergate, perhaps the greatest in modern American history?

Partly, it’s simple rage. Mueller threatens Trump. And when Trump sees someone as a threat, he tries to discredit and destroy them—conventional norms of propriety, decency and legality be damned.

But there’s another, more calculated, reason. Trump and his advisors may genuinely believe that firing Mueller is a smart move. And if you put morality aside, and see the question in nakedly political terms, they may be right.

The chances that Mueller will uncover something damning seem very high. Trump has already admitted to firing former FBI Director James Comey over the Russia investigation. Donald Trump Jr. has already admitted to welcoming the opportunity to get dirt on Hillary Clinton from people he believed were representatives of the Russian government. Even if Mueller doesn’t accuse anyone of a crime, he’s likely to paint a brutal picture. And that’s just on the question of election collusion and obstruction of justice. If Mueller uses Russia to segue into Trump’s business dealings, who knows what he might find. An all-star team of legal and financial sleuths, with unlimited time and money, and the ability to subpoena documents and people, have been let loose on the affairs of a man whose own autobiographer called him a “sociopath.” No wonder Trump is scared.

For Trump, therefore, the key question is: Is it better to force a crisis by firing Mueller now, or wait for the crisis that hits when Mueller releases his findings? In narrowly political terms, he might think there’s an advantage to acting now.

Quite true. Reality is what channel you watch: White House TV or CNN or the BBC. It's entertainment for the masses. Enjoy or change the channel (in 3 and 1/2 years).

    Quoting snowbound1769:
Fake news, sorry. Don't listen to CNN, WaPo. Opinion journalists at best, anti-government agents trying to undermine democracy in truth. Every presidency "fires" people to bring in their own team, then typically has a large turnover. This is just hyperbolic media in the face of an unorthodox President and Russian scape-goatism for Clinton losing the election that was impossible to lose. Trump handles the politics of the Office poorly and the mass-hysteria media would rather attack him than admit to their and Clinton's unforeseen meltdown.
For my response to your comment, please read my next blog "Lindsey Graham said There will be ‘holy hell to pay’ if Sessions is fired".

Somebody has to stop the dictator who tried to fire anyone investigate the connection in between Trump's family and Russia. He thinks he has the "compete power" to do everything his way.

The list of the people worked for Trump and have been fired is much longer than the two annoying women (Kelly Anne Conway and Sarah Huckabee) Trump hires.

Most recent two men Trump wants to fire are Jeff Sessions and Robert Mueller. In Mandarin Chinese, we called "Sand in Trump's eyes". I don't know how you describe in English.

The list of people already either been fired, resigned (quit), or reinstated are:

Sean Spicer - Press Speaker resigned, replaced by Sarah Huckabee and Anthony Scaramucci who said he loves, loves Trump, loyal to Trump.

Hui Chen - She quit her job as DOJ's Corperate Crime Watchdog. She is just a small fry. She quit so that she can talk freely, she has been muzzled by DOJ.

James B. Comey - Former FBI Director (everyone knows the story)

Preet Bharara

Sally Quillian Yates

Stephen K. Bannon - had quiet down after argument with Jared Kushner, but reinstated.

K.T. McFarland

Michael Flynn

Trump still lives in his realty TV show "Apprentice" -- "You're Fired".
