Museum of Vatican, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Square (3) on Nov 3, 2018 You can take pictures as much as you want inside of Museum of Vatican. I tried to show you more pictures but due to the blog size for maximum of 10 photos, so I have to skip some less important photos. Hope you enjoy those pictures. Photo 1: More sculpture in Museum of Vatican Photo 2: Sculpture on the ceiling in Museum of Vatican Photo 3: Sculpture at entrance of a room in Museum of Vatican Photo 4, 5, 6 and 7: The tapestry - Resurrection 耶穌復活(Jesus revived). I think there are about 20 tapestry in a room, I only took 7 pictures and show you 4 of them. Photo 8, 9 and 10: Long aisle of ceiling paintings in one room inside of Museum of Vatican. I took 5 photos from one end to another to finish the ceiling paintings. Just show you the middle section of ceiling paintings. According to the local tour guide said every painting has each story from Jesus birth to death and Resurrection. Each painting is different story but in sequence. i can enlarge the picture to view the detail from my smartphone. Lots of works for Michelangelo.           Honesty is the best policy. |

As you can see from Photo 8 there are many tapestry hang on the both sides of wall, but the ceiling paintings are more attracted to me. The crowd pushed me from the back and I don't want to lose the tour guide, so I had to keep moving and taking pictures while I could. Honesty is the best policy.

It was a tremendous job for Michelangelo. The Pope paid him lots, lots money. Michelangelo near blind before his death due the oil painting drops dripping into his eyes. His talent on sculptures, oil paintings, tapestry, .... His contribution to the Museum of Vatican and Sistine Chapel are the greatest art works of all human kind. I am amazed. Honesty is the best policy.
