Museum of Vatican, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Square (4) on Nov 3, 2018

People can take pictures as many as they want inside and out of Museum of Vatican, but no pictures, no talking, proper dress code in the Sistine Chapel. There are many signs said "Sistine Chapel is a Holy Place. Please wear proper dress code, no talking, no pictures". So, I didn't take any picture at Sistine Chapel. There were lots people in Sistine Chapel, some people took ceiling pictures in Sistine Chapel. Sistine Chapel is small and famous 50 oil paintings on its ceiling. Please Google "Sistine Chapel ceiling paintings" to see that 50 fascinating paintings. The most famous painting in the center of Sistine Chapel ceiling is God's finger reaches to Adam's finger.

The Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted by Michelangelo between 1508 and 1512, is a cornerstone work of High Renaissance art. The ceiling is that of the Sistine Chapel, the large papal chapel built within the Vatican between 1477 and 1480 by Pope Sixtus IV, for whom the chapel is named.

By the time we exited to Saint Peter's Square (or called Piazza of St. Peter), it was 5:35 pm and it was getting dark. The tour guide said 20 minutes free time to take pictures. So, I have posted 3 photos of me at St. Peter's Square. Finally, I was in the pictures.

I need to let you know Photo 10: The Pope only wants "Swiss guards at Saint Peter's Square", no other nation guards but only from Switzerland. The so called "Pontifical Swiss Guard" at St. Peter's Square. You can see the current Pope on Wednesday at 12 noon time at St. Peter's Square but you need to make reservation online. No ticket needed. The Pope will stand at a balcony and waive his hands to the crowd every Wednesday noon time.

I entered Museum of Vatican after on Nov 3, 2018 after 4 pm and exited around 5:35 pm. Sistine Chapel is inside of Museum of Vatican. My banker friend encouraged me to visit Sistine Chapel that he had been there. O.A.T. didn't include Vatican trip, so I paid extra money and had the hotel front desk to make reservation to see Vatican on either Friday, Nov 2nd or Saturday, Nov 3rd. The Group #2 people in Rome trip left on early morning of Nov 2nd to airport and fly back to USA. I was alone at same hotel and had the opportunity to see Museum of Vatican, Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter's Square. I admire Michelangelo's art works.

On Sunday, Nov 4th morning, O.A.T. sent a driver to picked me up at hotel to Rome airport and I fly to Sicily 2 days earlier than Group #3. I rested two days alone at a hotel room in Palermo city in Sicily.
