Parables ... Just share with you what parables my PhD physicist sent to me this morning. 1. Apple late CEO, Steve Jobs famous commencement speech at Stanford University: How to Live before you Die. Please Google his speech. He urged us to pursue our dreams and saw the opportunities in life's setbacks -- including death itself. His speech touched my heart. 2. Confucius parable 3. I believe in love (to the right person), peace and doing the right thing for its own sake. I believe in science. I sometimes wonder about the cosmic coincidence, I have no faith in God. I am a secular humanist. I have a pen-pal, PhD physicist who is 100 % Atheist. Whenever, NASA has new adventure to Mars, he emailed me. I have a Banker CEO friend who is a Catholic but he doesn't believe in Bible. I have an Orthodontist friend who is a Jewish but he actually is an Atheist. He has NEVER been to Synagogue. I have known him from Chinese FriendFinder so he might read this blog. I have a Podiatrist friend who is a Jewish but doesn't keep Kosher food rules. He eats shrimp, crab, .... no Kosher food restriction. He goes to Synagogue only once a year. Many of my friends are Atheists. Birds have same feather flock together. Honesty is the best policy.

My ex-husband is a loser. I hate losers. There is no god. I made a wrong decision to marry a loser in Dec 1986. He took advantage of my sympathy to save a loser. Please don't say "love him" to that loser. You don't understand. I want to divorce him but the community property law is on a loser's side. There is no miracle. There is no romance. He just used me to get "Green Card", money, ... I hate scammers. It hurts so much. I don't want to talk about it. No more religion. I am an Atheist. The Christian pastor's wife lied to the congregational church for more than $25 - 36 million USD and ran away. My ex is entitled to get 50 % of my money. They are all Christians, they are liars. God failed to stop crimes, earthquakes, hurricanes, flooding, .... The victims die first. Honesty is the best policy.

I am an atheist for 14 years. I won't change. I don't believe in god, devil, heaven or hell. I have done my job as a mother and supported my daughter to be an OBGYN (Obstetrician and Gynecologist) doctor. My son is graduated with B.S. degree in computer science. I have rescued my ex-husband from $34.85 in his checking, no Green Card, no dentist license, no social security #, no house, nothing. I married him to give him everything he always wanted just because he kneed down to propose me. I've sympathized him was a big mistake. He is and always be a lazy slacker, free meals, free house, free furniture, free of everything literally. He has no confidence to be a dentist, not making a living. To divorce him I have to give him 50 % of my properties. I can't change a lazy person, I can't give him 50 % so we have separated 14 and 1/2 years. No more religion for me. I don't believe in any kind of religion under the pressure of the society, neighbors, or desire (or greedy) to go to heaven. I will be cremated in an urn and remain in Earth after death. I have told you my religion journey from Catholic to Christian to atheist. Many religious people are "hypocrites". How to be a nice and kind person doesn't need to go through religion. I have gone through more lifetime experience than you. So, don't try to persuade me. I have been in USA for 38 and 1/2 years. U.S. Constitution First Amendment is "Freedom of speech, freedom of press and freedom of religion". It suits me well. I don't like Communist countries that control people under one political party. I like the countries that have "Democracy" policy. Everyone has the choice how to enjoy life. I have worked hard when young. Now it's time to enjoy my life to travel. So far, I have been to 16 countries. I am fulfilling my "bucket list". Next trip to Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, and Switzerland. Life is how you make it. Honesty is the best policy.

I Googled Steve Jobs' commencement speech again. 1. Connect the dots 2. Love and Loss 3. Stay hungry, stay foolish. I admire his "perseverance", "energy", "spirit", .... His biological mom gave him up at his birth for adoption. His own company, Apple computer, fired him in public humiliation, his pancreases cancer, he had never graduated from a college, .... For many people those are their excuses for NOT looking forward, but Steve Jobs had never gave-up his dreams, his love for his works. He had succeeded and returned to Apple computer CEO again before his disease took his life. Honesty is the best policy.
