Indonesia tsunami: Anak Krakatau volcano continues to erupt Thousands of people are being evacuated and flights rerouted as authorities raised the alert level for the volcano which triggered a deadly tsunami in Indonesia. Indonesia's National Board for Disaster Management raised the warning level for Anak Krakatau to 3, the second-highest rank. It earlier appeared to be calming down following Saturday's eruption, which caused a 3-meter (10 foot) high tsunami to sweep through the Sunda Strait, killing more than 430 people and displacing tens of thousands. Thousands killed as Indonesia devastated by nearly 2,000 natural disasters in 2018. Date Region Mag. An earthquake has hit the southern Italian island of Sicily, triggered by eruptions from nearby Mount Etna, injuring at least 10 people, damaging churches and houses on the volcano's slopes and prompting panicked residents to flee their homes. I was on Mt. Etna, Sicily, Italy on Nov. 18, 2018. The last day I was in Italy. I saw lots of lava. Mt. Etna was safe that day. When I read the news about Mt. Etna, I have a feeling that been there, done that. I flew back to USA on Nov 19. Honesty is the best policy.

I checked my blogs and found out I posted a blog regarding Indonesia earthquake on Sept 30, 2018 (before I went to Italy). Honesty is the best policy.

Previously, I have posted a blog regarding Indonesia earthquake in 2018 with a photo. Recently, a volcano eruption triggered tsunami without warning. I did a Google search for "Indonesia earthquakes". To my surprise, so many earthquakes, so often, so devastating. I eliminated the earthquakes before the biggest quake in 2004. The list is too long to list. Honesty is the best policy.
