I prefer cats over dogs for their independence and curiosity. With a cat for pet, you don't need to walk cat as walk dog daily. You don't need to take bath for cat but need to wash dog. Cat goes to potty without mistake. When my daughter went to Detroit for post-graduated medical school, she brought a cat that purchased a pet store. That cat went to Detroit to company my daughter. However, the cat was too old and died at 13 years old. My daughter bought another younger cat later on. During holidays, my daughter bought air ticket for cat to be in a cage to travel back to California and back to Detroit. Honesty is the best policy.
