The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face by Roberta Flack

The first time ever I saw your face
I thought the sun rose in your eyes
And the moon and the stars were the gifts you gave
To the dark and the endless skies

The first time ever I kissed your mouth
I felt the earth move in my hand
Like the trembling heart of a captive bird
That was there at my command my love

And the first time ever I lay with you
I felt your heart so close to mine
And I knew our joy would fill the earth
And last till the end of time my love

The first time ever I saw your face
Your face, your face

Wow - how did you remember that!
It's a 1957 folk song written by British political singer/songwriter Ewan MacColl for his lover Peggy Seeger She was the first to sing it, but very up-tempo. Roberta slowed it way down and made a fine fine song of it, same lyrics. I bought it as a present for my wife's arrival in Australia, but she hated it and never played it again! Such is life.

I knew if I post this song will bring you to my blog. Ha, ha, ha.... Yes, I am a pharmacist who has to have good memory about medication names, brand names, generic names, indications, side effects, ... and etc......

I marred a dentist who was in "student visa" and only $34.85 in his checking (but had $200+ cash in pocket). He kneed down to propose me to marry him. He said he would made money for me, if I married him to give him "Green Card". No, I've NEVER seen a penny. He got his Green Card, U.S. citizen, houses I bought, cars I bought, furniture I bought, I paid all the expenses, taxes, insurance, .... He just couch potato watched TV day in day out. Awake all night but slept in the morning, .... My dream became a nightmare. My hope became disappointment, to despair, to give-up. Divorce is the only way. He put he only made $2 as annual income on divorce financial statement. I said to the judge "do you believe he made $2?" The judge said "this is divorce court, not criminal court. We need to take his words unless you hire a PI (private investigator) to prove he make more than $2. I asked the judge how much PI will charge, the judge said "usually $550 an hour. At that time I worked full time pharmacist made $55 per hour. So, I gave-up to hire PI.

C'est la vie, C'est la vie. I have been separated since June 1, 2004 (almost 15 years). No, I don't want to give him my house, my rental properties, my mom's properties, my stock account.

I dated an orthodontist (from AFF) in 2007. I showed my ex put $2 on divorce financial statement, that orthodontist was mad and he helped me to report my ex to California Board of Dentistry. He taught me how to complain to Dental Board (they have same dental board). Yes, there were inspectors showed up to my ex dental office. I wanted to teach my ex a lesson he won't forget.

In USA, community property law is 50/50 even the woman bought the properties. Luckily, I dated a bank CEO who told me to use my mom's on the real estate title report and I am the only successor. When I took care my mom almost 5 years lived at my house, I used her name on Title Insurance report, property name. My ex can't get a penny for those properties with my mom's title. Ha, ha, ha, ....

I have experience a lot in my life. I get to know many friends who have helped me. No scammers can scam me because I know how to reject them.

I was born and raised as Catholic as my mom influence, then Christian because my ex wanted his Green Card in a hurry, his student visa had expired long time. The Christian church cheated congregation money and disappeared. I became an agnostic (don't know if god is exist) and gradually became an atheist. I know many friends are atheists and they are highly educated.

I like this song but NEVER seen the movie. I Googled "Play Misty For Me" as you told me, the trailer sounded some scary to me.

Popular radio show host Dave Garver (Clint Eastwood) becomes restless in his relationship with his girlfriend (Donna Mills). Impulsively, he goes out and sleeps with a woman (Jessica Walter) he meets at a nightclub. After the fact, he finds out she was not an anonymous hookup, but an obsessive fan who has called in repeatedly to request he play the song "Misty." Garver soon discovers extricating himself from the woman will be no easy feat as she becomes increasingly psychotic.
