How dare you! Greta Thunberg turns Trump's attack back to him

In an angry and impassioned speech the U.N. climate summit Monday, Thunberg denounced world leaders for their neglect of the threat of global warming.

“This is all wrong,” Thunberg said, reading from a piece of paper. “I shouldn’t be up here. I should be back in on the other side of the ocean, yet you come to us people for hope. How dare you.”

“People are suffering,” the sixteen-year-old continued through tears. “People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you!

“You say you hear us and understand the urgency, but no matter how sad and angry I am, I do not want to believe that,” she added. “Because if you really understood the situation and still kept on failing to act, then you would be evil. And that I refuse to believe.”

Trump, whose administration has rolled back environmental protections and withdrew the U.S. from the Paris climate accord, was not scheduled to attend the event, but he showed up briefly, arriving after Thunberg had spoken and leaving after about minutes.

Thunberg, though, did see Trump in the hallway.

4 Clean-Energy Alternatives to Uranium are Thorium, Solar Power, Natural Gas, and Hydrogen.

I also like geothermal. We have the largest Yellowstone National Park and one in New Zealand.

My PhD physicist friend has emailed me for 4 years there is another element more efficient and clean than Nuclear called "Thorium" after Japan's 8.9 Earthquake / Tsunami / Nuclear leaks in March 20 and 11. Please Google the keyword Thorium. My physicist friend has emailed me this information for at least 3 times or more. I have never paid attention, but now you mentioned Nuclear, I recalled Thorium.

People have different thought about a same thing. I feel Greta is an audacious girl with passionate of the Earth. Trump bargained over annual membership fee of climate change agreement. This is a small case to Trump. There is a much bigger case waiting for Trump. That is Democratic party "Impeachment Inquire".

Greta is a 16 teenager living in Sweden. You know in teenage time, people are more rebellious than any other age group because the hormone stimulate during 13 to 19. Another factor is that she is a Swedish that country is the top number one in the world to transform garbage into useful energy. I am strongly believe in "clean environment", "global warming", even "climate change". It is a fact that I have seen from TV more than 25 years ago "National Geographic" program that huge chunk of ice fell in the ocean, the melting glaciers raised the sea level. I also saw the residents of Chincoteague island outside of Virginia state had to move out the island because the land is shrinking every month. The population of Chincoteague island has decreased.

As Trump, the next day after his inauguration, he immediately signed "executive order" to have oil pipeline from Canada to USA which that Obama declined. Trump went to Paris, France to attend "Climate Change meeting" and to everyone's surprise, Trump declined to pay annual membership fee because he thought that fee is too expensive. USA is the only 4 countries that in United Nation that refused to join Climate Change agreement. Later on, in many occasions, France president, Emmanuel Macron, has repeatedly mentioned to Trump to join Climate Change agreement, but Trump refused.

I understand everyone entitle to have different opinion how to spend money. But USA is a strong economy country, we can afford that annual membership fee. USA has spent lots of money in military and defense, so why this membership shouldn't be a problem.

As a teenager, Greta has been invited to UN Climate Summit that is a great honor. She is a Swedish that has been educated to be an environmentalist. Her persist spirit is encourageable, although the word "how dare you" twice in her speech is too harsh.

Bravo! a 16 y/o Swedish girl scouted 73 y/o the U.S. president, Donald Trump at U.N. climate summit. Finally someone came out to say "Global Warming", "Climate Change" effected on everyone on the Earth.

Do you know Sweden is the top 1 in the world that know how to "recycle" paper, plastic, aluminum cans, glass bottles, .... recycle to useful energy? Someday, I will travel to this country to see aurora. It's in my bucket list.

I don't understand why Chinese FriendFinder deleted 16 year-old in this topic. What's wrong of two digits of 16. I didn't give away my phone #. On the other hand, Chinese FriendFinder approved the pornographic videos and photos posted on Chinese FriendFinder because the automatic censor machine to delete Arabic numbers but nobody really censor the videos or photos. Anyway, I changed 16 to sixteen in order to avoid censorship.

President Trump seemed to mock Swedish teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg on Tuesday, the day after her emotional speech at the United Nations charging world leaders with stealing “my dreams and my childhood with your empty words.” But Thunberg turned Trump’s heavy-handed irony back on him using his favorite medium, Twitter.

She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future,” Trump wrote in a tweet that included a video clip of her speech. “So nice to see!”

The 16-year-old responded by changing her Twitter bio to read: “A very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future.”

Greta Thunberg is a 16 y/o Swedish courageous "Green Environmentalist". Last year, Thunberg began striking by skipping school every Friday to protest government inaction on climate change, inspiring kids around the world to do the same. On August 14th, she departed from Plymouth, England, on the Malizia II, an emission-free sailboat, to attend a climate summit at the United Nations on September 23rd.
