Taiwan has been unfairly suppressed by CCP since Nov. 19/79. Taiwan has democracy system ever since both Chiang Kai Shek and his son, Chiang Chin-Kuo died. Taiwan became democracy country in 19/88. We have presidential election every 4 yrs, our own flag, national anthem, our constitution, our own passport, our sovereignty, we have bipartisan system but three political parties. U.S. former president, Jimmy Carter shouldn't abandon Taiwan in 19/79 and established diplomatic relationship with China. I don't like Chiang Kai Shek massacre Taiwanese for 58 days in 19/47 at the beginning of his escape from China to Taiwan. The massacre was because language barrier of Taiwanese didn't know Mandarin Chinese and Chiang's soldiers didn't speak Taiwanese. I know Taiwan's history even I was NOT born yet. My ancestors had been in Taiwan for more than 400 years. I don't need an Aussie blogger who kept remind me Chiang massacre - 228 incident. I don't like Chiang Kai-Shek, but at least he allowed Taiwanese to learn English and travel. I am a Taiwanese-American and have dual passports. I love both Taiwan and USA. Honesty is the best policy.
