Salute to all the Heathcare personnel in the world

New York city is in Coronavirus crisis. Currently my is in New York, she is supposed 2 work as an OBGYN residency doctor until June 30 this year for 3 years completed OBGYN specialist doctor training. She has MD graduated on* June 6, 20'17. In graduation ceremony, all graduates had 2 recite "Hippocratic oath". Based on* this oath, every MD has 2 dedicate his or her professional judgement and knowledge 2 save patients' lives. New York has shortage of MD's, nurses, Lab technicians, ...., so my has 2 work other MD's (mainly for Coronavirus) job rather than just OBGYN residency training. She works sixteen hrs a day at a hospital. She is exhausted. Her husband, my -in-law is a physician assistant had 2 join the work in hospital. I texted messages 2 her, if she needs the N96 masks, surgical gloves and medical gowns, ... She replied send her as much as I can afford. So, I ran 2 buy 20 of N96 masks, 500 pairs of surgical gloves and protective gowns and send 2 New York by FedEx. I saw from TV some MD and nurses wear plastic trash bags 2 protect themselves from Coronavirus patients. OMG...

In Taiwan, there is a Dr. Su, E. Fong, who received a letter from American Thoracic Society with a "Urgent Needed for MD in New York City, ICU (Intensive Care Unit)" offers Dr. Su 3 thousands USD a day. USA is the strongest country in the world but now lack of MD 2 treat patients, short of masks, gloves and protective gowns,... doctors work long hrs when they are needed.

This Coronavirus pandemic spreading cause many MD and nurses died because they are in the front line 2 fight virus and saving lives. There are not enough protection for healthcare personnel and not enough ventilators for patients. The virus spread rapidly that not enough time for many countries to prepare for those medical supplies, treatments, and testing agents.

Currently, USA, Italy, and Spain are the most serious and high death tolls. The whole world running out of toilet paper. I don't understand why people had to hoarding toilet paper and hand sanitizers. Hand sanitizer can easily replaced by gloves, and wash hands with soap frequently. Hand sanitizer is just alcohol spray. I don't buy hand sanitizer, but I have some rubbing alcohol at home from before.

I am a traveler and airline company provided "eye masks" for customers during the long distance flying. I know "eye masks" are supposed to help you to cover your eyes and help you to sleep.

If you don't have good "face masks" to protect yourself, you can use this "eye masks" as a protection for your nose and mouth as "face masks".

Just suggesting you to use this alternative mask as your PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).

We, as general public, can keep a social distancing of 6 ft or more to each other, but MD and nurses have to close to patients, even they know there are risk to get infected by patients. How can't U.S. government provide enough masks, gloves, protective gowns, ... for healthcare professionals and ventilators for patients.

My daughter is a new doctor in New York city. I am very worried. She works over 12 hrs a day. If a soldier goes on battle field, you need to provide enough we*pon for the soldier. Doctors face coronavirus patients every day, but not enough protection for themselves. This is not fair ...

I texted message to my daughter to make sure she received the package I sent to her. Yes, she got it. If New York city ran out of N95 masks, surgical latex gloves, protective gowns, I, as a mother, I have to save my daughter who works as MD to save lives at front lines.

I am a retired pharmacist, I am a healthcare personnel too. We have done our best to heal the sick people. Don't take us for granted. It is not for money, but the spirit is good.

I am very worried about my daughter who is a new MD and works in New York city where the coronavirus spread wildly.

I hope U.S. government will provide more masks, gloves, protective gowns for all the front line healthcare personnel. It is a tough job for them. There are many MD, nurses have died in many countries since this coronavirus outbreak.

I sent medical supplies to my daughter and her husband in NYC. They will receive the package by noon time. As a doctor's mother, I really worried about their safety and health. They are exhausted working more than twelve hours or even sixteen hours a day. The patients keep coming with the virus. They can't refuse the overload work but do their best as they have swore to help patients to conquer the pandemic disease.

Her first year of residency worked as a "General Surgeon" in Detroit. The 2nd year, she worked in Northern California. The 3rd year residency training, she moved to New York since late June of last year. Her choice of specialist MD is OBGYN as most women would like to have female doctor to deliver their babies. However, due to this pandemic disease, the hospital asked her to work as Thoracic MD to take care of lung disease because lack of MD. USA is supposed to be the best country, but now we are the #1 confirm coronavirus cases and death toll that surpassed Italy, Iran, South Korea, .... to have the highest patients in the world.

I have to pay those medical supplies from my packet to protect my daughter from virus. MD is on the front line to treat patients. US government should provide enough medical supplies to protect MD's and nurses.

New York - Nurses Die, Doctors Fall Sick and Panic Rises on Virus Front Lines

A supervisor urged surgeons at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in Manhattan to volunteer for the front lines because half the intensive-care staff had already been sickened by coronavirus.

A doctor at Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan described the unnerving experience of walking daily past an intubated, critically ill colleague in her 30s, wondering who would be next.

Another doctor at a major New York City hospital described it as “a petri dish,” where more than 200 workers had fallen sick.

Two nurses in city hospitals have died.

The coronavirus pandemic, which has infected more than 30,000 people in New York City, is beginning to take a toll on those who are most needed to combat it: the doctors, nurses and other workers at hospitals and clinics. In emergency rooms and intensive care units, typically dispassionate medical professionals are feeling panicked as increasing numbers of colleagues get sick.

“I feel like we’re all just being sent to slaughter,” said Thomas Riley, a nurse a Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, who has contracted the virus, along with his husband.

Medical workers are still showing up day after day to face overflowing emergency rooms, earning them praise as heroes. Thousands of volunteers have signed up to join their colleagues.

But doctors and nurses said they can look overseas for a dark glimpse of the risk they are facing, especially when protective gear has been in short supply.

General public can keep 6 ft social distancing, but MD or nurses can't. Government should provide enough masks, gloves, protective gowns, ventilators, even corpse bags, ...., etc.

AFF has deleted all the word "to" in my blog, so I had to replace with 2. Chinese FriendFinder don't allow 4 digits year, so I had to put as 20'17. Why Chinese FriendFinder censor the "to" word and 4 digits in yrs? Is Chinese FriendFinder controlled by CCP?

I saw on videos and TV, some ignorant young men and women licked the toilet seats for a bet and they got infected and died for Coronavirus. I saw there is a guy covered as a dog, he put all his hands and legs on the ground and walked like a dog. Idiotic young guy, he will get virus infection.

I know most of Chinese FriendFinder bloggers are not subscribers, but I have posted my daughter's MD graduation photos and her wedding photos in my profile. She got married and graduated in same year, 20'17. She chose her career as an OBGYN doctor and needs to have 3 yrs training as all specialist doctors too.
