Follow your passion to find a niche (合適的職務). My passion is "travel", I like to see the world. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, my trip has been postponed and postponed. Currently, India has very serious pandemic spreading. The global has 3.33 million death due to this Coronavirus. The world should sue China.

At this time, China has so many crimes, "organ harvesting" on Falun Gong practitioners maybe Xinjiang Uygurs too. Force Tibetans and Mongolians to eat pork and forced to learn Mandarin China because they are Muslims. They have been to put in the Concentration Camps or in jails or forced to put in contraception device. No "Human Rights". Look the HongKongeses have been transported to China for trials. Saber-rattling Taiwan everyday with 19 or 20 or 25 fighting jets to threat and disturb Taiwan's peace. Where is the "Justice"? The world didn't punish the atrocious CCP or stop their crimes. Now they used the pandemic to k*ll 3.33 million people with this invisible disease.

It is unfair.

Although I have been to Grand Canyon National Park 3 times, but I have NEVER walk on the U-shape glass bridge that called "Skywalk". Because it was built from 2004 to 2008 long after my 3 visits.

When I was in New York, DC, Philadelphia, Niagara Falls tour, it was during the Christmas Eve, 1996 to New Year's Day 1997 holiday season, so everywhere we went i.e. Fifth Avenue, Time Square, Madison Square Garden, Rockefeller Center, Buffalo city, Niagara Falls, John F. Kennedy Center, John F. Kennedy International Airport, all decorated very pretty. After all, New York is the biggest city in the world. It was cold, I wore my mink coat.

My first travel in USA was 1981 summer vacation when I worked as a Loan Secretary" at a bank for a year. I was single. My aunt, my cousin and I were the drivers and my parents were the passengers. It was a self-guide, no travel agency. Our first visit was Grand Canyon National Park, then up north to Zion, to Grand Teton, Bryce Canyon, to Mormon Temple Square, to Dinosaur Fossils, Arches national park, then to the largest Yellowstone national park (Old Faithful Geyser), then south to Idaho, to Las Vegas, to Hoover Dam in Nevada, to Yosemite, Sequoia, Kings Canyon. The 2 weeks vacation plus a long weekend was 17 days, we spent 16 days on the road. In 1981, there was no internet, so we had to check the maps. It was a happy and advantageous trip. I was amazed how bit of USA as I was from Taiwan, a small island.

That was why I took my family (ex, daughter, son) to the same trip for those national parks to let them know how big USA is when my daughter was 4, son was 2. The trip was with a Chinese travel agency. My ex got his "Green Card", US citizenship from the marriage. I paid for the whole trip expenses. It was 1992.

Then I paid a travel agency to take family to Hawaii in 1993 because I complained that I had no honeymoon when my son was 3 and I had owned my pharmacy. It was 5 days/4 nights in Honoluu, the big island of Hawaii.

In 1994 we went to West coast of Canada to see the world most beautiful lake "Louise Lake" with a Chinese travel agency (the 2 kids were too young). I saw the tour guide sent us to the bus waiting while he went back to get his kick back commission under the table.

My pharmacy was at a MD's office next door in 1995. I know the MD always goes on vacation from Christmas to New Year day. He closed, my business would be very slow, so I planed an Europe trip to England (2 days), France (2 days), Netherlands (2 days) and Belgeum (1 day) with a Chinese travel agency with whole family. My daughter was 7, son was 5 and they went to Europe. I bought a mink coat for the Europe trip.

In 1996 my pharmacy closed from Christmas to New Year day of 1997, we went to East coast of USA, New York, NJ, Boston, Washington DC, Philodephia, to Buffelo town in New York state and Canadian border to see the Niagra Falls in both side of USA and Canada. The trip also included McGill University, Quebec in Cananda. The back to JFK internation airport and flown back to L.A. I wore the mink coat in New York, Niagra Falls trip for the winter in 1996 to 97.

I filed divorce in May 2004 and officially separated. I took 2 kids and my mom to Alaska cruise because my ex said he doesn't like cruise that whole day see the sea. I just did the opposite. I went on Alaska cruise by joining "Princess" cruise company. There was no agency rather than the cruise company for a week. Keep in mind, Alaska is very cold, so the last cruise is September. My 2 kids school summer vacation ended on Labor Day.

In May of 2008, I went to China alone with a Chinese travel agency. My ex doesn't like China, so I did the opposite. China trip is 8 days/ 6 nights, but acutually only 6 days & nights due to 30 hours on the air. The trip included 4 cities (Beijing, Han-Zhou, Su-Zhou, Shanghai). It was more like a shopping trip. The local guild took us to souvenir stores and one tourist followed by a sales woman. The gave you pressure to buy jade, tea, tea pot, silk, to see the aerobic show, to message your foot or back. I dislike those force you to buy something, or service and then you went on bus and local guide went back to get kick back commission under the table. Every stop, every souvenir store, they did the same. I h*te this kind of business deal.

I went back to Taiwan in Jan to Feb of 2011 to sell my family home in Taiwan. A Taiwan real estate agent called my mom that a buyer was interested to buy the house. My mom had severe Rheumotoid Arthritis and lived in my house. I took my mom to the Taiwan-USA ambassy to sign a "Power of Attorney" that my mom had me to go back to Taiwan represented her to sell the Taiwan family house in 2011. No travel agency as I can speak, write Mandarin Chinese well. The transaction was supposed to be done by 2 weeks, but it was during Chinese lunar New Year Day. People celebrate from New Year Eve and 5 days after (total 6 days). The hotel I stay raised the price to 3 times during the lunar New Year for a week. All the banks, escrow company, government building all closed for 6 days. OMG, I didn't like to pay 3 times of price for hotel. However, Japan doesn't celebrate Chinese lunar new year, so the hotel price remain the same. I decided to join a Taiwanese travel agency for a 5 days/4 nights trip to Japan (Osaka, Kyoto). I have been arrenged with a female roommate. I wired the sold proceeds back to USA. Just when I return on Feb 16, 2011, Japan had a 9.5 magnitude earthquake, tseunami, and nuclear radiation on March 11, 2011. My sincere condolence to all the victims by this disaster.

My mom passed away in Sept 2013. After her funeral, I planed to travel. Because my banker CEO friend traveled to Australia and New Zealand and my aunt and my mom travel to the "down under" in 2001. I decided to go Australia and New Zealand. I found "Women Traveling Together" an American online agency for women. I contacted them and joint the trip for 16 days. There were 18 women in 9 rooms during the trip. My 13 nights roommate, Lisa, is the best for all my trips. She is 3 yrs younger than me and has two adult sons. She is very nice with me to join me during the day and went out to dinners at local restaurants with me. There were 2 beds in a hotel room, but only one bathroom. She used the bathroom fast and put on make-up outside mirror in the room, not in the bathroom. It was a happy and adventurous trip. I enjoyed the scienery and food in both Australia and New Zealand.

After a happy trip to the "Down Under", I jointed "Oversea Adventural Travel" agency to Italy in 2018. It is an American agency. From Oct 15 2018 to Nov 19, 2018 for 36 days. I was in a room alone from Oct 15 to Nov 5, 2018 afternoon, I joined 1st group of tourists for center of Italy that included Tuscany and Umbria. This area is a vast idyllic countryside scienery. If you like city and busy shopping, you probably don't like this area. The 2nd group of tourists are in Rome for 4 days. Rome is a busy and hustle and bustle city. The ancient government and many famous landscapes, i.e. olosseum古羅馬圓形大競技場, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon), The Pyramid of Cestius, Hercules Victor Temple, Mouth of Truth, Forum of Julius Caesar). After 4 days, the 2nd group of people left. I stayed in Rome for two more nights because my banker friend recommended me to see "Sistine Chapel". Yes, I asked the Rome hotel front desk to find a local agency to Vatican. Vatican is a separated country where the Pope resides but it locates in Rome. Yes, I paid that one day agency to Vatican Museum and inside it is "Sistine Chapel". This is the most important "bucket list" for everyone to see. This Michaeloangelo art works on ceiling, on scaptures, tombs, oil paintings, .... It is precious and luxiourious. A few years before Michaeloangelo died, he was almost totally blind because those oil paintings drip into his eyes. You can feel the muscle line of scaptures is the world top artist work. Please refer to my blogs during Nov 2018. The 4th group of tourists I have been with in Sicily. On Nov 5, 2018 afternoon, a woman appeared in my hotel room. I chated with her. Why your husband didn't come with you? She answered her husband is crazy about hunting than traveling . Her husband owns 7 riffles and 7 pistols. I thoght the conversation went wrong at start. She asked me why I used the only luggage chair. I said I have been travel in Italy for 22 nights alone. She demanded to use that luggage chair the next day, She snored loud, coughed often, and she is a deaf. She wears hearing-aid during the day and takes off when sleep. She didn't wake up when the hotel morning calls. She took both keys out, so that I couldn't get in the hotel room in the afternoon She drinks lots of wine till 11 pm or 12 midnight and made noise when returned to my hotel room. She never walk with me during the day. I couldn't sleep but dozed during the day trip. It was horrible to have a roommate such like this woman for 14 nights. That's why I stopped to post Sicily, Italy 14 days blog because I was exhausted with such a woman. I am a pharmacist, she is a pjarmacy-tech. She lives in Northern California, I live in the Southern California. At that time, there was a big fire in Paradise city where is about 1 hour driving distance from her house. Due to the time zone difference, her husband called her in Italy time at 6 am. Her hearing-aid was off, so she didn't hear her cellular phone ringing. I had to push her to tell her that her cellular is ringing. She talked loud at phone because she couldn't hear well and distance between Sicily, Italy and Northern California. It was a nightmare to have a roommate like this woman. She used the toilet and bathroom long time and put on make-up in the bathroom inside, so that I couldn't use the bathroom. Travel alone in a hotel room is much better even I have to pay more.

Do you like to travel? Where have you ever travel to? How many countries have you been to? I enjoy traveling to see the world. However, this Coronavirus pandemic for over a year, many countries lockdown, or quarantined for 15 days, airplanes are enclosed area, how can we eat on plane with masks on? The airplane companies, travel agencies, hotels, restaurant have been impacted tremendously. Can we sue China for global death more than 3.13 million people due to Coronavirus? Not mention that death toll not included the actual death counts in China, Iran and India.

It is a "Catastrophe".

I have been up to the World Trade Twin Towers 101 floor that for tourists long before that horrify day of Sept 11, 2001. I have seen the original Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, France long before the FIRE. I have climbed to the Mount Etna volcano in Sicily, Italy long before it erupted.

Most of the time I travel with agencies for deeper exploration. They reserve the hotels, arrange the transportation, local tour guides, safer as a group and no language barrier.

Ever since I file divorce in 2004, I travel with American travel agencies because I don't like to eat Chinese food instead of exotic local food. I also don't like Chinese tour guides who took us to a shopping stores and told us to go back to bus and wait, then the tour guide went back to the store to get kick-back commission under the table. I caught them to do so many times. American agencies don't do this kind of kick-back 付回扣 bad habits.

If you are in France, you should eat "escargot" (snails) 食用蝸牛 and foie gras 肥鵝肝醬, desert is delicious Crème brûlée.

If you are in Australia, you should eat Kangaroo steak and crocodile meat with a glass of red wine.

If you are in New Zealand, you should eat Lamb steak. They have more lambs than human.

Australia and New Zealand use different electric outlets than USA and Europe. Buy those outlets before you leave USA, so that you can charge your laptop computer, cellular phone, ....

Australia and New Zealand, England, Japan drive on the left side of streets, big right turns.

If you are in Italy, you should eat pasta of different shapes, desert is Tirami sù or Cannoli with Red Wine. There are many "Gelato" (Italian Ice Cream stores) in the streets. Italian hotels have bidet toilets. Europe use different electric outlets than USA. Please buy European outlets before you travel to charge your smartphone, laptop computer, ... etc.

If you are going to Japan, you should eat "Sashimi" and "Sushi" with Wasabi. Japanese bidet toilets are the best that can adjust the water temperature and dry up your butts.

I was born and raised in Taiwan till 1980. I have been residing in Southern California for 41 years. I am a Taiwanese-American who has lived in states longer than Taiwan.

I enjoy traveling. Travel makes me put my work and mundane world behind me. I have booked and pa*d in full in November 2018 for Rhine and Moselle rivers cruise in July 2020. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 whole year, I had to postpone it to May 2021. But the travel agent emailed me said the cruise has to postpone to May 2022 because some of the European countries are not safe for the tourists. The travel agency refused to refund but only can give voucher for future use. This pandemic spread to the world and 3.13 million of people already died on Coronavirus. I have two doses of Pfizer vaccine injections but it is still dangerous on the plane or indoor dinning. Sigh ........
