Russia attacks Ukraine, stock market tumbled

Russia attacks the Ukraine, crude oil and natural gas soars, inflation fear worsen, FOMC will raise interest and stock market tumbled. Panic sell-off. I am a BUYER. Many stocks plummeted to year-low or plunged to half even 1/3 or to capitulate level. Good stocks and bad stocks all fell down. This is the time to be greedy when everyone is fearful.

Bought good stocks: GOOGL, AMZN, TSLA, TSM, ADBE, CRM, QCOM, PANW, AVGO, and some bad stocks (for now) that fell under the water: SHOP, PYPL, ZM, GE, F-B , TEVA, ... I've c*sh account so I don't worry about "margin c*ll". I've reserve half million USD 2 own more if the situation gets worse. In long term, this current situation would be a "hiccup", a buying opportunity. Time will prove.

The S.W.I.F.T. sanction Russia Ruble started since Feb 28, including the United States (US dollar), EU (Euro dollar), U.K. (British Pound), Canada (Canadian currency) and Japan Yuan have agreed to enhance economic sanctions against Russia by removing select Russian banks from the SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) messaging system. Russian currency (Ruble) has plunged, 1 RUB = $0.008 USD (less than a penny).

Then, Citi Bank, Chase Bank, Mastercard, Visa card, McDonald's fast food restaurant, Coca Cola soft drink, Starbucks coffee shops, all the luxury stores in Russia including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci and Prada are temporarily closing in Russia amid the continuing invasion of Ukraine and resultant Western sanctions.

The whole world condemn Russia's invasion of Ukraine (except China). Putin threatened to use Nukes. The whole world's stock markets have plummeted including Chinese stock market. This uncertainty situation could last long. It is all because Putin's decision of invasion of Ukraine. We can see from TV, internet, Google YouTube videos, magazines, how heroic Ukrainian soldiers and citizens. We see Russian soldiers are using 19 Century wxxpons, tanks, out of foods in cold narrow tanks.

During the weekend, I have watched many YouTube videos about Ukraine. Millions of women with their children escaped to the neighbor countries and left their males to fight with Russian soldiers. My tears rolling down my face. It is all Putin's fault to invade Ukraine and bombed their buildings, massacred Ukrainian citizens. Russia even bombed and surrounded Ukraine's nuke reactor. The Ukrainian's courage and Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelenskyy's brave asking for join NATO and EU. Ukraine became a human purgatory.

Russia leader Vladmir Putin even threatened to use nuclear that can destroy the whole Europe and more. Biden said in the State of the Union address that no U.S. troop will set foot in Ukraine. However, Biden uses monetary sanction that Russia can't use USD and British Pound, Japanese Yuan followed, so that Russia economy tremendously plunged. Europe is depended on Russia's oil and natural gas and hesitated to sanction Russia or help Ukraine to send soldiers to Ukraine. Finally Germany has released that they agreed not to buy oil and natural gas from Russia. It is unnecessary for Russia to invade Ukraine. It is a chaotic world.

AFF has restriction and censorship to use certain words in the blogs and comments. I tried hard not to use those banned words and use more neutral words and hope will pass AFF's automatic censor machine.

I stand with Ukraine and hope "Justice will prevail". Peace on Earth.

My most perfect performance in my stock portfolio is Tesla. If you read my blog before, you know I drive a Tesla and a Elon Musk fan. He is a very smart guy. However, lots of people short his TSLA stock.

I bought the lowest price of TSLA on 5/19/21 for $551 and it went up to $900+, but I didn't sell it. It came down under $600 and I bought more. I started to sell one share of $1,000 until Nov 2021 I sold all my TSLA at $1,225 and made 6 figure amount of profits. I stop to trade TSLA. On 1/24/22, Russia attack Ukraine news, TSLA down to $700 and I bought 32 shares of TSLA at $700.39. Then Elon Musk gives Ukraine advice to keep SpaceX satellite-internet working amid Russian invasion. TSLA jump to $889.88. I am still holding TSLA. I have confidence on Elon Musk.

What is Russia? What is Ukraine?
The Soviet Union (full name: Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, or USSR) was a socialist state that was created by Vladimir Lenin in 1922. During its existence, the USSR was the largest country in the world.

Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev closes his resignation speech after delivering it at the Kremlin in Moscow on Dec. 25, 1991. After 74 years, the Soviet Union was dissolved, breaking into 15 countries.

The USSR collapsed in 1991 & left in its place 15 independent states. Russia, Armenia, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan.

But there's often been friction among the former Soviet republics, including the current confrontation between Russia and Ukraine.

Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania立陶宛, Latvia, Estonia, and Moldova. Poland Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, Belarus白俄羅斯, Bulgaria. Yugoslavia

The 10 countries that constitute what the UN considers to be Eastern Europe were all once part of the eastern, communist bloc of countries led by the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Some were part of the Soviet Union itself, while others were Soviet satellite states. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s, many of the region’s countries have become more closely integrated with the West, and have become part of the European Union and NATO. 10 countries of Eastern Europe are Belarus白俄羅斯, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine.

There are a total of 44 countries in Europe. 9 countries in Western Europe, 10 countries in Eastern Europe, 15 countries in Southern Europe, and 10 countries in Northern Europe.

I haven't add more MSFT, NVDA, AAPL yet. My limited prices didn't meet the lowest prices yet. Currently I don't have AAPL because I sold it at high at $187.49 not too long ago.

I don't own any IPO, Chinese stocks, or Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) ... saved me lots of trouble. The word Cryptocurrency starts with "Cry", not a good omen.
