Taiwan's President Tsai meets Kevin McCarthy at Reagan Library It is an unprecedented event for an incumbent Taiwan female president to meet U.S. House Speaker, Kevin McCarthy at Reagan Library today, April 5, 2023. As you know, U.S. House Speaker is the 2nd in line for President. (I have visited Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley, Calif in Dec. 2008, please refer to my profile pictures.) As you can see, during the meeting Taiwan's president Tsai can speak English fluently without any interpreter to translate when she talked to House Speaker, McCarthy and other 18 Congress members including Mr. Mike Gallagher directly. If you Google Tsai Ing-wen education, you will find out she graduated from London School of Economics and Political Science (1980–1984) and Cornell Law School (1978–1980). There were no "Cultural Revolution" in Taiwan, females can pursue high education. I am very happy to hear Mr. McCarthy to address 稱呼, 頭銜 Miss. Tsai as "Taiwan President". As a Taiwanese-American, I am very grateful to Mr. McCarthy. Taiwan's Presidents are voted by any Taiwanese over 18 y/o. People elected their leaders, presidents just like any Democracy countries. I have been in the USA for 43 years and voted for U.S. presidents every 4 years. Unlike the CCP leader only got 2,952 votes that represent for 1.4 billion Chinese people and they voted by raising hand up, and only one candidate and all 2,952 CCP unanimously 無異議地；全體一致地 voted for Xi for his 3rd term five years. In Democracy countries have at least bipartisan system and primary election with many candidates. Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen vowed to "defend the peaceful status quo" in which the people of Taiwan can continue to thrive in a free and open society. Her remarks came after a meeting with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy that Beijing had warned against. President Tsai said "unwavering support, reassures the people of Taiwan that we are not isolated, we are not alone." I am a patriot to Taiwan and the USA equally. God bless the USA and Taiwan. Peace on Earth, stop the war between Russia and Ukraine. No more killing and destroying.  Honesty is the best policy. |

In USA, we have President, Vice President (1st in line for President), U>S> House Speaker (2nd in line for president). The U.S. president has 2 terms, each term only 4 years. However, in China, their leader are voted by only 2,952 CCP members, not all the people over 18. Xi made an exception that he can have 3rd term, each term five years. Xi didn't name his successor, or his Vice President. That said he thinks he is immortal 永世的, 不死的. Xi chose 6 top cabinet members, none of them knows "Economy" and 5 out 6 are high school education level only. Xi pipe-dream that he can be an Emperor in China and further more in the whole world forever. The COVID-19 can spread to the world and killed 6.88 million people. He can ally with Russia, North Korea, and Iran and against the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, .... everyone has to obey to him. Or else, he will threaten the world by saber ratting Taiwan, Japan, the USA as he pleases 高興, 喜歡. Xi has visited Russia Putin, they are motley crowd 烏合之眾. Honesty is the best policy.

China leader Xi’s revanchist regime had become so hostile to China’s best firms you would have thought its Politburo had been staffed out of Biden’s Federal Trade Commission (FTC). That hostility does not seem to have abated, at least in the case of the enterprises that most famously—and embarrassingly for the Chairman— owed none of their success to the CCP. Despite U.S. aggression on trade and Chairman Xi’s ambitious “Made in China 2025” program, China has so far generally refrained from closing its markets to U.S. technology. This is especially so in the semiconductor manufacturing arena for which the USA and its European allies provide the crucial tools used by chipmakers. China’s semiconductor manufacturing sector is the fastest growing in the world, and China will soon be the world’s largest consumer of “wafer fabrication equipment” (WFE). Yet this enormous market has remained open to U.S., European and Taiwanese toolmakers. It is open no longer, but not because of Xi. The Biden administration has forbidden a growing number of Western companies from exporting semiconductor fabrication equipment to China. As the result, TSM (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturer) stock fell today, Monday 4/10/2023. I have had lots of TSM. However, AMD and NVDA (both companies CEO are Taiwanese-American but these two companies factory are in the USA), so even both AMD, NVDA dropped at opening but closed at high. I have AMD and NVDA too. NVDA's AI chips are very popular recently. Honesty is the best policy.

We, Taiwanese have had been in Taiwan land for over 400 years, but CCP is only 73 years history. Whose history longer? We, Taiwanese have NEVER had experienced 3 years Great Famine, a decade long Cultural Revolution, Tienanmen Square Massacre, One Baby policy, Organ harvesting people, Suppression on Hong Kong protestors, COVID-19 spread virus to the world,.... Which side is more peaceful? In year of 2020 the whole year, Taiwan only have 7 persons died in COVID-19. Which side has better virus control? We are not the 2 millions soldiers came to Taiwan in 1949 when Chiang Kai-shek retreated from Mainland to Taiwan. Taiwanese have 400 years history compare with CCP only 73 years. Who have Democracy system to have bipartisan political parties, Presidential election that all citizens over 18 can vote, we have our own flag, national anthem, passport, Constitution, freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom of press. Have you ever seen Xi been grilled by media reporters, or bipartisan Congress and Senators? All five CCP dictators were belligerent, all them know is killing. How can CCP let pandemic spread to the world? China economy is in great danger after Real Estate crisis, semiconductor (chips) transferred out of China and moved to Vietnam, India, .... Mind your own business on your economy, stop killing. Honesty is the best policy.

It is unnecessary for CCP saber ratting Taiwan, sending military aircraft and carrier 航空母艦 circling Taiwan daily. Taiwan has 23.8 million population. My ancestors came to Taiwan during Ming Dynasty, 鄭成功 that 400 years ago. I don't know any Chinese people or have any relatives in China. After 400 years separation, we have nothing in common with China. COVID-19 has spread all over the world for the past 3 years that killed 6.8 millions people. The Americans, British, Europeans, and all the countries 6.8 millions perhaps 7 millions died because COVID-19. People are angry this pandemic disease started from Wuhan virus. And yet CCP brag about they are the leaders of control the pandemic. Actually, CCP didn't provide the actual death toll. China's economy is critically in danger, i.e. Real Estate, banking system, COVID lockdown, Zero tolerance, .... Why CCP didn't let Chinese people to have Pfizer or Moderna mRNA 3 injections, or Gilead, or Regeneron oral medication to cure COVID. China is the 2nd largest economy country, CCP have lots of money for themselves but not purchase Western medicines for Chinese people. CCP firewall system cut off Chinese people to get news. Chinese people thought millions of Americans are dying on the streets. When bad news in the USA, CCP cheered and post bad news in China, but CCP conceal their bad news. CCP are not transparent about the facts. Honesty is the best policy.
