A persona non grata 不受歡迎的人

Chinese ambassador, Lu Shaye 卢沙野 sparks European outrage over suggestion former Soviet states don’t exist. Lu Shaye 卢沙野 is a Chinese diplomat currently serving as Chinese Ambassador to France and Monaco. Lu is popularly referred to as a leading advocate of "wolf-warrior diplomacy", which he has promoted.

Chinese ambassador, Lu Shaye's comment on Sunday, 4/23/2023 dismayed all 14 out of 15 European countries including Armenia, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan except Russia. We know the USSR collapsed in December 1991 & left in its place 15 independent states. (The USSR leader, Mikhail Gorbachev closes his resignation speech after delivering it at the Kremlin in Moscow on Dec. 25, 1991.) Those 15 countries have their independence and their own "sovereignty 主權". These 15 countries do exist as individual countries since 12/25/1991.

The remarks by China’s ambassador to France Lu Shaye, who said during a television interview that former Soviet countries don’t have “effective status in international law,” have caused diplomatic consternation, especially in the Baltic states. Lu told the TV host, Darius Rochebin to get education for USSR history. In fact, Lu is the person who should get education. Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia would be summoning Chinese representatives to ask for clarification, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis confirmed on Monday, 4/24/2023. Ukraine, Moldova, France and the European Union also all hit back with criticisms of Lu’s comments.

In August 2022, after Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan, Lu said that the people of Taiwan had been brainwashed by pro-independence ideas saying, "I'm sure that as long as they are re-educated 再教育, the Taiwanese public will once again become patriots".

In December 2022, Lu said of the 2022 COVID-19 protests in China that, "Foreign forces came into play already on the second day".

This CCP Ambassador, Lu Shaye said " Cultural Revolution" for a decade is a "gossip 流言蜚語, not a truth". There were estimated at least 43 millions people died during Cultural Revolution and CCP especially killed college professors, principals 校長, scholars, high school teachers, principals, ... and their family members. Within that decade, no school open for students. Dead people can't talk but their lots of people witnessed that 10 years tragedy. Lots of Children reported their own parents to the CCP and been taken to the public and tortured to dead. You can Google the truth, that was the reason CCP kicked out Google from China, so that Chinese people can't know the fact after the old generation passed.

CCP ordered Chinese people to be Atheists. They knocked down temples, churches, mosques, ..... Without religion, CCP are not afraid of God punishments.

In a televised interview with Darius Rochebin in April 2023, Lu stated that former Soviet countries "have no effective status in international law". When asked whether he thought Crimea belonged to Ukraine, Lu said, "it depends on how you perceive the problem", adding that "it's not that simple" and that Crimea was "Russian at the beginning", without specifying what he meant by beginning, prompting a response from Ukraine's ambassador to France Vadym Omelchenko who suggested raising the question "who owns Vladivostok?" with the Chinese ambassador next time. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs issued a response on Twitter stating that Lu's remarks were "completely unacceptable", and demanded an "explanation from the Chinese side and a complete retraction of this statement". He also further stated that Latvia, along with Lithuania and Estonia, would summon respective high ranking Chinese diplomats in their capitals to provide explanation regarding Lu's remarks. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova protested these declarations as well. About 80 European lawmakers called that "wolf-warrior activity at its worst" and asked the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs to declare Lu persona non grata in France immediately. The transcript of Lu's interview, which was initially published in both Chinese and French on the Chinese embassy to France's official WeChat account was deleted and the transcript was not published on the embassy's website. Following the diplomatic outrage over Lu's remarks, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, at a regular press conference in Beijing, stated that China "respects the status of the member states as sovereign states after the collapse of the Soviet Union".
