The upcoming 2024 U.S. presidential election I posted a blog " House approved 95 Billion aid for Ukraine, Israel & Taiwan" on April 21, this year, at first Chinese FriendFinder approved but only 38 views and then Chinese FriendFinder declined this blog. Even I protested to Chinese FriendFinder many times that I didn't have violent words. So, I disappeared for many months. Sorry for the digress. I'm a Taiwanese-American. I've legally emigrated to the USA since 1980 (44.5 yrs ago). I love both Taiwan and the USA. I voted for Biden in 2020 election as a Democrat. I can't wipe away the bad memory of January 6, 2021 riot (insurrection) on the U.S. Capitol Hills. Please refer to my previous blog "Insurrection on U.S. Capitol Hill on 1/6/2021". The debate between Biden & Trump this year, Biden performance was lousy, so I decided not to vote this yr. My favorite person is Mike Pompeo (R) who knows CCP well and how to take Taiwan back to international stage, such as UN, WTO, WHO, ...etc. I skip this yr election but wait for Mike Pompeo to be a candidate in the next election. I know many Taiwanese like Trump and hope Trump will take Taiwan back to the international stage, but I don't like Trump's personality, character, attitude, ... etc. During Trump administration, CCP signed twice Trump's impose higher tariff, however CCP didn't fulfill any tariff increased. In Biden administration, Russia invaded Ukraine for almost 3 yrs, Hamas ki**ed and took hostages for over a yr. I see Biden is weak to lead the world. So, I decided not to vote for either Democrat nor Republican in the upcoming November election. I've lived in California for over 44.5 yrs. California is a Non-swing state, they always vote for Democratic party, so my one vote won't make any difference. The USA has "electoral college" vote system that's different from Taiwan's "popular vote". I agreed with Elon Musk about "First Amendment" which is "Freedom of Speech, Region, and Press". However I don't agree the "2nd Amendment" to own g*ns. Yes, I agreed the USA has too many illegal immigrants across the south border. Honesty is the best policy. |

Trump won the U.S. presidency. The U.S. stock market rally. Many of stocks went up to all-time-high. I sold AMZN of my 1/3 holding for big profits. Sold 1/2 of my PLTR holding for big profits (my PLTR average price is $9, today it is $54.). Sold my oil pipe stock KMI reduced from 8,800 shares to 2,500 shares. However, my pharmaceutical stocks went down, such as MRNA, PFE, REGEN (those 3 stocks related to Covid-19 vaccine, less people to get those 3 medicines). My semiconductor stock SMCI fell to year low, and endanger to be de-listed. Even TSM went down but my average price is $96 per share, I am still a winner. My NVDA went up to all-time high, a winner stock. My TSLA (Tesla car) is a winner Honesty is the best policy.

I used to discuss with my Caucasian banker CEO friend every 4 years during election time. Unfortunately, he passed away on 1/12/2022. My last conversation with him was 1/10/2022 talked about 1/6/2021 riot (insurrection). Just 2 days before he died. Honesty is the best policy.

Trump asked Taiwan for "Protection Money". Trump said Taiwan steal "semi-conductor" from the USA, it is NOT true. Intel can't make high quality "Chips", that is not Taiwan stole Intel technology. TSMC is the only country that can manufacture 3 nm (nano-meter) chips and going to make 2 nm chips. Finally, Intel can make 14 nm and going to make 7 nm chips. Compare TSMC technology with American Intel, you can see the tremendous differences. TSMC didn't steal semiconductor technology, but Intel should "catch up" the modern technology. Honesty is the best policy.

The election is Tuesday, Nov 5th, 2024. Today is Sunday, Nov 3rd. The way I see Trump's (R) policies are: 1. Increase tariff (particular to China) - in my opinion, raise tariff can't bring "inflation" down because the products we buy from foreign countries will be higher prices. 2. Reduce income tax bracket. - this is rhetoric and benefit to big companies, corporations. 3. Reduce interest rates. - Fed Reserve has increased interest rates too many times to control "inflation" down. This is also rhetoric and benefit for people borrow money and companies to extend . You know Trump is a businessman who wants to pay less payments. 4. Manufacture in USA (Made in USA). The U.S. labor unions could be a "hindrance" that higher wages 薪水, the higher cost. 5. Unilateralism. - Trump wants to negotiate or talk with Xi and Putin himself that is different from Biden to bring allies (Japan, S. Korea, Australia, Philippines, ...) together to against Axis of Ev*l (Russia, China, Iran, N. Korea). 6. Refuse illegal immigrants at borders. - I agreed with Trump about "Control the illegal immigrants". Too many illegal immigrants come to the USA for welfare and bring down the USA economy. We have too much "national debt" already. 7. Not care about "Green Environment". - Trump doesn't believe "global warming", he wants to drill, drill, drill more crude oil. I strongly agreed with Trump about "boarder control" only. I don't like Trump's bully, aggressive attitude, he committed felon, tax fraud, porn star hush money, election fraud, false & harmful racist allegations. Most of all, he incited his supporters to go to U.S. Capitol Hills and had a riot (insurrection) on 1/6/2021. He said the 2020 election was a "Witch Hunt", but his attorneys couldn't find any concrete evidence (35 times). When Trump sworn in during his inauguration, he promised to bring the peace to the USA, to protect American people. The riot bring USA disturbance. However, I don't know Harris (D) much. I don't know I should vote for her or not. I have a dilemma. I prefer Mike Pompeo (R), but he is not a candidate yet. Honesty is the best policy.

Trump attacked former Rep. Liz Cheney, one of his most ardent critics, on 10/31/24 as a "w*r hawk" and suggested she be sent into the line of fire. During a live interview with Tucker Carlson, Trump insulted Cheney's intelligence and suggested she would have different views if she had g*ns pointed at her. Trump said "Cheney is a very dumb individual, very dumb. She's a radical w*r hawk. Let's put her with a rifle standing there with 9 barrels sh**ting at her. OK? Let's see how she feels about it, you know when the g*ns are trained on her face." OMG, is this an U.S. President candidate, Donald Trump supposed to say???? Honesty is the best policy.

During the debate between Biden and Trump on 6/27/24, Biden looked disoriented and perplexed. Biden had to announce he retreated from the election on 7/24/24. Then Biden recommended his VP, Kamala Harris to run the Democratic campaign. Harris is the Democratic Party's nominee for president in the 2024 election. I don't know about Kamala Harris well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trump has escaped from two "assassination attempts" like miracle. Trump became "hero" in his campaign rally. The polls show Trump will win, or "neck and neck" 勢均力敵, 不分上下, 並駕齊驅 in between Republic and Democratic parties. However, I can't forget Trump committed felon, tax fraud, porn star hush money, election fraud, false and harmful racist allegations, especially the 1/6/2021 riot (insurrection). Trump has disgraced丟臉，恥辱 the USA to be the leader of the world. Even thought Trump slogan is "Make American Great Again". His obnoxious persona just won't get my ballot. Anyway, Democrat always win in California. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The above is my personal opinion. As an American, I have Constitution rights "Freedom of speech, religion and press". I believe in Democracy and against autocracy 獨裁政治, 專制政治. Honesty is the best policy.

I believe Trump "assassination attempt" twice is real because he won't risk his life for him to be in White House again. However, it won't change my mind NOT to vote for him because he has too many scandals and lawsuits against him. I can't forgive and forget he incited his supporters to go to U.S. Capitol Hills and had an insurrection. It's wrong for an U.S. president who sworn in his inauguration that he will protect the great USA to be peaceful. How can an American president let this riot happened?? How could he encourage his supporters messed up our U.S. Capitol?? Just for his ambition sake??? No, the election was NOT a "Witch Hunt" 【美俚】政治迫害；捕風捉影（根據不足的證據或不相干的證據而對國家的不忠、顛覆及其他不法行為所做的嚴密調查). It was a legitimate election in Nov 2020. Trump's supporters even wanted to "hung Mike Pence" who was Trump's VP 副總統 for 4 yrs. Trump has many other scandals and lawsuits, and yet the USA law allows him to be a presidential candidate. Elon Musk spends lots of his fortune to the 7 "swing states" to promote First Amendment and 2nd Amendment in U.S. Constitution. He is helping Trump but his act created a controversial. On the Democrat side, I don't like Biden didn't have "border control" and let the illegal immigrants flood into the USA. Biden is too old and has not enough energy to administrate this country. Biden's son had "bribery" from China and Ukraine scandal, illegal drug addition issues. But Biden said he had no recollection about his son's behavior. I doubt he didn't know. The incumbent California governor, Gavin Newsom, signed into law bill banning local voter ID requirements. This outrageous that voters don't need to show ID card and enter to ballot box to vote. Newsom is ridiculous. Politics is ugly. Honesty is the best policy.

I won't vote for U.S. presidential election because I don't like either Democrat or Republican candidate. I will wait for next election for Mr. Mike Pompeo in 2028. Honesty is the best policy.
