100 degree plus it is plain and simple "hot", its a distressing heat, most days last week it rained, today it is hot enough to suck the water right back out of the ground. This area has a mix of every kind of weather during the course of a year. and each type is somewhat extreme.. I do wonder if the heat was the same back in the days when there were no Air Conditioners, and people used wood burning stoves ? maybe they did not eat on days when it is this hot, or they would eat early in the morning, or very late in the evening. Maybe that why people were not as big as they are now. Again I saw many many very big women out shopping, so I looked more at the products on the shelves.. but I can say, some of the women were openly friendly and did not wait to be spoken to, they spoke freely and did so without reluctance, which is a good human quality thing to do. Well, since I was out... I went to get shirts, and look at shoes, it was so hot, I wandered through the store for a while, and did not buy anything, then I went to another store to buy under-garments, which that was not such a bad purchase, but, even still, I don't need to be out buying stuff, when I don't need it. never got what I left home to get, which was an inspection sticker for my car. but none of the inspectors work on Saturdays.. Back home, its "Movie" time", and possibly I will work on the company web design, and build some of the databases that are on my list of things to get done. First I will make some rice and broccoli with shrimp, maybe I may put some chopped chicken in it too. ... and have a few slices of Tomato, and some bottled water. It's time to change the eating habits and try and stick to a good diet... |

A puzzling pattern in the cosmic rays bombarding Earth from space has been discovered by an experiment buried deep under the ice of Antarctica. Cosmic rays are highly energetic particles streaming in from space that are thought to originate in the distant remnants of dead stars. But it turns out these particles are not arriving uniformly from all directions. The new study detected an overabundance of cosmic rays coming from one part of the sky, and a lack of cosmic rays coming from another. Antarctica Experiment Discovers Puzzling Space Ray Pattern This odd pattern was detected by the IceCube Neutrino Observatory, an experiment still under construction that is actually intended to detect other exotic particles called neutrinos. In fact, scientists have gone out of their way to try to block out all signals from cosmic rays in order to search for the highly elusive neutrinos, which are much harder to find. Yet in sifting through their cosmic-ray data to try to separate it from possible neutrino signals, the researchers noticed the intriguing pattern. ____________________________ Remember in the Movie - "2012" .. the neutrino count became alarmingly high.... let's hope this is not the cause of this amazingly high temperature, it is slated to be 100 through Monday..

It's already with a mix of warm days... the thing this winter is, the grass did not turn brown. I don't know if that is a sign that the summer will be very hot. I'm still pondering the thought to sell the Bikes, I've not ridden them in almost 2 years, or maybe it has been two years... either ways, its been a long time. I really like looking at them, but not much time to ride them.... when I first bought them, Spring was a great time for riding. but here the weather can and does changes 'quickly"
