Cold weather and a good movie... It was extremely ""Cold"" last night, it took a few minutes for the house to warm after work, the dogs ran out, but they ran right back in when the cold hit them ... so, they sat around eating on their chew bones, so I decided I'd watch a movie. I watched the movie "Ray", (again), What a Great Movie !!, I like how his wife managed herself in the relationships. She did not try to leave, she knew everything he was doing, but she knew beyond it all that he would always come home to her. Ahmet Ertegun, of Atlantic Records also had a wife who did not trip about where he would go or what he would do, Mr. Ertegun and Ioana Maria Banu were married on April 6, 1961. Known as Mica, she became a prominent interior designer. These men were fortunate to have women who had the understanding to stick with it. I think that is very good, especially how they portrayed Ray's wife, Della, in the movie. It was not emphasised as a main theme of the movie, but it was captioned very well, to show her as a woman who was stable enough to know, beyond all other things, they were together.. Unfortunately they did not show any of the elements of Ahmet Ertegun and his wife, but I did see a documentary on him and his wife, and it was excellent. she did not trip about where he'd go, or tripping about what he was doing, because she knew he was always coming home and he was not going to forget where home is, no matter what and where his work would take him. |
