what makes people so abusive to others ? (from news) Cambodia on Friday to stop supplying housemaids to Malaysia, claiming many are abused and made to work like slaves because of inadequate protection. Malaysia has recruited thousands of Cambodian women since neighboring Indonesia barred domestic workers from coming to Malaysia in 2009 another was rescued by Malaysian police after she was allegedly abused and had her head shaved bald by her employer. "Cambodian maids now remain in a condition of forced labor with practices of modern day slavery." Malaysia is among Southeast Asia's top importers of foreign labor, employing more than 200,000 mainly Indonesian maids. Many households rely on maids for cooking, cleaning and looking after and the elderly. (end news) ________________________________ What makes people think they are so above another to the point they think they can abuse people simply because they hire them. this seems to be a systemic problem in many regions, who treat their neighbor citizens with such dis-regard. Money does not make one better than another, and the people who live like they think it makes them better, are lower than any other human being with no sense of humane respect and lack of integrity, they are propped up on image and delusion. Elitist ignorance seems to be rampant in more and more places. People seem to love the arena of enslaving other, and they think it makes them elite, when it truly brings out the evil of their character.. I heard stories of this kind of stuff in HKG, of how many Filipino domestic workers are treated and held in a state of containment, by these ego maniac's, who have no sense of dignity to respect other human beings who provide labor as service for hire. there are some sick mentalities in this world, and Money will never erase that level of ignorance. what do you think?? |

I think there are lots of situations where women don't work and they keep a messy house  I've seen over the years friends who's wives did not work, and the house was not very tidy.

i think lots of people who have money think they are entitled to treat people how ever they want but they are not. being rich does not give people the right to abuse others who are less fortunate. remember karma always comes back around.
