colds what a crazy season, I awakened Thursday with a sore throat and everything went downhill from there. Fever, congestion and body aches.. Friday was simply a blur... even after spending nearly $40 of cold medicines, most of that stuff simply does not work as listed. Besides there are too many brands to choose among, its almost like the biggest gimmick going. I bought a small bottle of Congac, it seemed to raise the body temperature to help me sweat, I still took the stuff I bought, but here it is late Saturday and still feeling groggy.. I can't believe med tech can come up with everything but if they create something that actually works they take it off the market. some years back Alka Seltzer Plus Cold tablets actually worked, and they did it overnight, but they took it off the market and re-formulated it, and now it is just like the rest of the stuff. I think its crazy, they should put back the stuff that worked. !!! |

Thank you, I had to take off work today, because of the drained out feeling, unfortunately I have to drag myself up to get a few things done anyway. I did call work to get some faxes sent, and made a few phone calls to insure follow up on some key items. but now, I think its best to lay back down and simply sleep.. I'm going to make a soup later, and must take some to my mother, as she is now down with the same thing. Here the weather is pure crazy, I normally do not get colds except maybe every 4 or 5 years. I've drank much juice, many vitamins and hopefully it is working. I will go to work tomorrow ...
