Outside Cold is better than Outside Heat Food stuff's does not grow in either, but at least when it's cold one can find a way to get warm, even if they have to find or dig a cave. Heat is a bit harder to escape. Came home yesterday, and the air conditioner was broken ( again). It happen last year. Last night was quite "hot" and it was hot all morning, but thankfully the repairman came and fixed it. but wouldn't you know it, the unit quit working at a family members house also. Out side even the air that is blowing is -"HOT" . I'm one who believes in global warming, as well as I believe the impact of solar flares which lash out from the Sun have dramatic impacts on the temperature. It would be illogical to think the sun heats the earth just by doing what it does, and not think that solar flares cause more heat to be thrust our way. Yes, we generate a great deal of heat with our massive cement pads all over the place, asphalt roads and other structures that reflect as well as generate an increase in heat.. Yet, I still see some people out doing various works in the heat, they seem to have developed a better adaptation to a higher level of heat tolerance. It's quite amazing how our bodies have become comfortable in moderate to limited movement, until we heat up quickly and our body surely has clogged up pores and a heat defusing mechanism which is not functioning the best that it could, if we were in better condition. Fact is, today, that condition is not going to reach its most efficient level, because it is too hot to exercise or do anything. I look at the motorcycles and realize this simply is not the place for it in general.. It is simply too hot in the summer for it, too cold in the winder and the more I think about it, the more I realize how much money I've wasted and continue to waste, I must cut my losses, re-coup what I can and move on... such a loss that should not have existed this long, but we all have to awaken at some time to decision which is to be made. Anyway, it is hot!!!! the air is not cooling the house as best as I think it should, but it is far better than being without any air conditioner. What a blessing it is to have the technology of air conditioners. My graces of sympathy goes out to any who has not the access and availability of air conditioner. |

the heat zapped me... it took some hours before the guy got the unit operating, as the house heated up, I was loosing energy fast... but I notice this morning, everything has cooled down. What was really a trip, in the evening yesterday, it was 99 degree and then it started to thunder and lightening and raining ... it brought the temperature down about 10-15 degree.. before that, the wind was blowing hot air.. but after it cooled down, very odd looking could formation came, they looked like multiple cotton ball which was similar to how drops of water would be shaped, in rows upon rows. later I went to visit some people, as we sat around the pool, they had not got any rain, but the temperature there had cooled also to be very comfortable. but as you say, when its cold, one can bundle up.. and find warmth, but in the heat there is no comfort beyond the air conditioner. I have read that, if one dig's below 6 feet, that it is cooler under ground than on the surface. but who the heck is going to dig a hole in their yard like that  but I do notice, my dog dig holes and they get in it when it's cold and they get in it when it's hot. "they are naturally smart in such ways". It is amazingly hot... and there certainly has to be many environmental factor which impact it, I think even the melting of glacier's contribute to the heat, as the heat contributes to even more glacier's melting, which in turn contributes to there being more heat. the cycle is ongoing... One thing I do like about heat in tropical like places, is the tone of the women's skin, as well as the silky like smoothness of it . I think whether it's hot or cold,, having a happy spirited woman is a major plus factor....

in general I am not fond of being cold, nor of being too hot... I would delight to live in some tropical like place where the temp on average is 75--85 - and have lots of pretty women...

We are getting it again this year, day after day of 100 degree... I can only stay out side for very short periods, because I'm just not adjusted to the point I have strengthen the tolerance level to deal with this level of heat. I must get in better condition physically and mentally.
