Accumulating Junk

It is purely amazing how much "stuff" accumulates.

Seems I have to go through the entire house and start disposing of things and removing what will amount to clutter if I don't get rid of it.

maybe I might even get rid of some tools and things in the garage, since I rarely use them. just stuff on the counter that I don't seem to have the motivations to deal with.
someone else may find some usage out of it.

It's such a trip, I have two computer in the trunk of my car, two in the house and a laptop. I rarely use the laptop, because I'm more use to the desk top models, Just stuff...
I have a new bicycle in the garage, which has been there for 7 yrs, it's amazing I've been here 7 yrs, the years passed rather quickly. it was easy to ride my bike in California, here they don't have the bike paths like they had in California. and the motorcycle dilemma continues, I think to keep one but here the weather is so unpredictable that I may end up getting rid of both, and maybe just get an older car and customize it or something.

It about time for some changes in things

I have lots of sweater which I no longer wear and shoes that I no longer wear, , that will go to the one of the shelter programs,.
Even project that I have in the works, some of them may well be shuttled to some of the people I coordinated with.

In life, we buy so many things over time, and the actual invested dollars become often time more than we realize, and many things go un-used for long periods of time.

Streamlining our lives is itself an interesting thing. I see some people who fill up their garage, some fill up their back yards and some fill up even their porch, front and/or back. Then there are others who pay rent on storage facilities to store things they will never ever gain utilize.

I've seen people who have many many things jammed into spaces and then cover over with other things. In some areas I've driven, I see some people who have their entire yard filled with many many things.

the more of this stuff that accumulates the more things equally is cluttered in our minds to some level, because we have reserved a mental space for this stuff as well as the sentimental attachment, or the economic concern attachments.

Another matter is "Paper", it seems to continue to accumulate, I use to print many things, but now I save it on portable drives. and even that is a trip, because I have multiple flash drive, and a pocket drive.. so, to resolve this, I'm going to get a 2 or 3 Tera byte drive and load some of this stuff on there and a good scanner and scan some of the paper that I need to keep.

Now, the task is to get the focal energy and determination to do some of what I'm discussing

Yea, there comes a time when we evaluate the importance of accumulating things and buying into American consumerism.

$300 for a bicycle is a good bike, many of the department stores sell average bicycles for around $100. they are much heavier than the very good bicycles which can range into the thousands. I think I paid only a little over $100 for the bicycle in my garage.

On the elements of Motorcycles, I spent far too much for the two.. it appears that the Suzuki has lost an average of $1000 a year in value, based on the blue book sales listing, mine should be a bit better in value retention since I have only 3,000 ,miles on each of them. The other bike has lost about 5k+ over 6 years. this probably does not include the interest paid on the loans.

I won't make these type of mistakes again. between the two they cost me too much, surely everyone knows the price of Harley Davidson, and i have the top model with 90% factory accessories on floor models. the Suzuki is the Boulevard Series, so it cost a bit more than the standard Suzuki.

After having the Harley, it is a good bike, but the cost is very high... I seem many people with a variety of other type of bikes which have many of the same attributes as the Harley.
the distinctive sound is no longer so distinctive when others have mimicked it as well as the looks.

there are many good bikes out there now, and many of them do cost less.
