Back to work The 3 day weekend was good... now its back to the basic's of work.. Work is good to have... in this climate of so many people being unemployed, it is an opportunity to make a contribution, to expand learning and to give something of ourselves. It does not always matter what type of job, but it does matter to have a job. Here in this country some jobs are not valued the same as they are in other countries. I was amazed at the professionalism and dedication people had for their jobs as McDonalds and other places of convenience in say , Thailand. People appreciate those jobs, and they are proud to have those jobs. It's not always a good thing for the claim that everything has to have a college degree attached to it, because there are always a need in society for every job that exist, or the job would not exist. The media hype and the ways University push the idea that people are not worthy of anything if they have not paid into a university system, is not a good thing for the world, this does not mean University are not good things, nor does it mean attending them is not a good thing, but it does mean that there are other ways of learning far outside the overly costly programming of university. Many things about the world were created by people who never entered these facilities, Today, there are so many ways to learn and so much free information, one simply need to first and foremost have a drive to learn and drive to improve their awareness and knowledge of things. there are books, video and many ways to pursue and gain knowledge, but one that that is amazing in life, is the creativity of the individual mind. It does not take a great degree to have an idea, and many idea's that are pushed in the business world, do not require an idea, it requires a mind focused on outlining and defining and communicating an idea. some ideas that are hailed in business as great, are common sense progressions to those who have vested interest to have understood the business aims and objectives. What this means is, don't doubt yourself nor diminish your belief in your ideas, just because you don't claim a degree. Today, there is no need to give a student a list of classes that have nothing to do with their chosen career aims. But it is of benefit to the University to justify their high cost to themselves. course specific training can be gained in many of the tech schools and vocational schools, that focus on the aim of the student. This has given many the want to continue learning, be it self learning or some structured research.... We've seen every kind of bad decision imaginable by many who claim degree's, because the continual teaching that a degree equals wealth and many use this to do many devious things, because their aim is wealth not putting knowledge to good honest and practical usage. We've seen swindle after swindle and glutton after glutton destroy companies that some people spent years building. Today, even in medicine, we see a hold back of what could benefit people, all for the sake of keeping cost high, We see the attorneys' insult the integrity of regulations and laws, all for the sake of money without any concern for the consequence they invoke by perversion of principles of governance and regulatory management. sadly, degree's does not signify honesty by any means, it means a person spent a prescribed amount of time, completing a prescribed set of courses and they paid the prescribed fee to get credit for those course. For anyone, do not doubt yourself nor your ability for lack of degree, but be a individual who is driven to keep learning by any means one can, it is amazing what one hour a day invested in learning something can do to advance your awareness and expand your mind to become indulged and your summations of gained knowledge can aid your creative efforts to build dreams. Be willing to team work with others, because shared information expands knowledge for both and all. Be willing to help others improve their understanding and be willing to share information and you multiple the information being shared in the world. God the creator knows all before we began to consider, therefore keep the faith and ask for the guidance and deliverance of understanding and you will be amazed at what you can gain in broader knowledge of many things. But keep always the value of humanity above the lust for wealth and you will do fine and find much of works to do... Find a level of love and passion within what ever work you do, you will be amazed at what you can bring forth in improvement within working. you will learn something everyday.... |

Thank you Sapphire,  What I write is meant to inspire hopefully each person to accept their work with pride and do well within it because it represents much of themselves in how they give and what they give, unto the choices they make. What ever is the reason for the choice, one makes it, but it is far easier to do well, be honest and be of a self inspired integrity to bring more than one is seeking to get, and under this focus, success is a given.. because one will achieve much within themselves, as well as the work they do. I recently changed jobs, the pool of applicants was large, some with degree and some without, but what matters is not just the invested self in learning and continuing to learn, but working skills with others, the determination to do well, and insure that not only is the task of the job delivered well, but also the goals and aspirations of the direct management is support, promoted and engaged to insure the delivery meets the aims and standards of the operations objectives. In all work, it requires not only the specific's of one direct duties, but the collateral responsibility that are inherent within the operations. It goes further to understand how that operation fits within the larger entity be it private business or public business. We do best when we are within an internal understanding of what it means to be of Service., and have the capacity and dedication to serve for the benefit of others in what we do. All business is dedicated to the service of others.
