Tragedy awakens people , ( temporairly)

One lady on TV was furious because the government did not come right away to give them help..
but some of these people are the same ones who complain about the government helping the needy in everyday situations.

Now, her tune changes when she needs help, Now she states: The governments job is to help people when they are in challenged situations.

It's amazing how tragedy has to come to the doorsteps and into the homes of some, before they appreciate the government being an entity that helps American people.

I wonder how soon after this women gets help, before she will be back again complaining about the government helping other people who are in challenged situations on a day to day basis.

it's sad but that is the mindset of people.. Look at big banks, they talk crap and play and make games, but they were eager to ask for government assistance, and then took it and still wanted to pay themselves outrageous sums, and then claim they could not make loans to people.. but they loaned money to each other and to big corporations... and made billions.. while they stiffed the same public they asked to help them.

many people complain about other people who need assistance from time to time, and then when they need it, they feel its OK for them to get it, but they detest seeing anyone else get it.

Look at the Real Estate Crash... it was and still is many people who are not of the minority groups, who traded up to homes they could not manage, and look at the areas with the highest home problems. they are the medium and lower medium income ranks, and many of them are people who made more than a 100k and with two income some made 150k upwards, and they borrowed, bought these homes put expensive stuff in them, all on credit and then the job left. but they want to blame everything on everyone else, and exempt themselves from the things they cite.

for decades, people ran up credit cards, and over spent, then they'd re-fi the house and pay it off, while the mortgage increased, this cycle was done over and over and over, and they consider themselves as meeting their obligations. but truth resulted to show, they had homes that were under water, and upside down, because they over borrowed based on fake appraisals. now they can't unload it, some had to let them go and some simply moved to apt's and some were caught in a homeless situation.

We have many who let the greed grasp get them, they jumped at the fast talkers schemes, and got ripped off, and then they are left with nothing. Now they want their social security, they want that free medical care, and they want those food stamps, because now they need it.. But before they spoke detest toward others who needed it.

I don't begrudge any of the people who need assistance. I made it for 5 yrs without income, and lost a great deal in my business venture and depleted reserves, but I found work and now I'm working myself out of challenge, Thankfully, I did not have to go to public assistance. But if I had been unfortunate to have found work in time, if I needed assistance then I'd utilize it.
my aims now is to continue to reduce and manage monthly expense, and rebuild resources. I still want to create a business, and I will, but at the present time, I have to invest myself in working, and making sure I stay grounded in understanding that I can function with an older car, I can function without going shopping every time I see a item I think I want. I can look around home and see many many things, which I don't have time to deal with, so it keeps me focused to know that I don't need to go get a lot of stuff, because I have pretty much the things I can actually utilize and then some .
my aim is to build cash reserve... as i build it, I'm not concerned with what I can invest it in to increase it.. unless it is something stable.. because the get rich quick schemes are not appealing to risk what I'm working to rebuild.

I have two bikes that truly need to go, and that is a process that its far past time that I get busy and get rid of them. Now what I do look at is, what things cost me on a yearly basis. I am not in a position to afford to spend, 10k a year on something I don't use. Nor to buy a new car and spend 10K a year just to have it. knowing that next year it will probably be worth 15k less in value.

I never expected to loose so much since 2008, but the cost has been a good learning experience. I lose 28 yrs of work in 2005, and that was very costly.. due to being outsourced.. benefits not awarded because I was not old enough at the time to qualify by a simple 10 months, so it is for sure, that I'm much wiser about many things. It's crazy, being short on age by 10 months cost me what I spent 28 yrs earning.
so, that should be a lesson to other, as to how companies can treat people. and as to companies, they are no respecter of persons. What I can't get back is the 28 yrs. But, what I do have is my health and skills, and by the graces of good, I have a honest self and I'm self motivated, so I will regain what I desire to want, because I'm willing and able to work for it. Thank goodness that I can continue to stay healthy.

Many people may do well to learn that things can change very quickly in life, so take nothing for granted, and be wise to learn from experience and if possible learn from the experiences of others.. and be with much thought about the choices we make.

for me, if or when I find a woman I want to be with, she needs to have a reasonable consideration about life and things. and learn to be happy to be healthy and alive, and work for what is wanted and take care of it once it is acquired. I do believe in enjoying living, and I'm not a miser about living, but I make much effort to improve my ability not to be wasteful and not be or become blind to the fact of what is considered as being wasteful.

What is of true value - is Health, it is my mission to not only stay healthy but to become even more healthy.
