2006 -2013 it's still looking good

Purchased in 2006, its a 2007 Model...

After sitting in the Garage for the past 3 years or so..

The weather here is so unpredictable, its simply a strange thing, when I first bought it, it was August and for the first 3 months riding was good, then came the weather change. Next was the Spring, the riding was good, then came the Summer, the heat simply did not present comfort for riding.

I guess its time to clean up the other one... since tomorrow is a holiday and the so called prediction is for good weather.

Not much air pollution here in the south, they have so many trees, but over the years the poor emission control of vehicles has been diminished greatly.

The big challenge here at least for me is, "the weather', and "trucks' there are lots of trucks on some roads, the next is people on Cell Phones, and in rural areas, various animals cross the roads. As to city driving, its a challenge watching out for people in cars. today, people think because cars are built with all this luxury and comfort, that they don't have to use as much caution and care.

One guy told me, the reason many motorcycles have "loud exhaust', is an added measure to insure if people don't see you coming, they can hear you.

It's certainly far different than riding a motorcycle in places like Thailand or some other places. I've ridden there, and I can say it is very different than riding here. People have very different road habits and the cars and bikes mix up on the streets in ways they'd never do here. Bikes have to respect and follow the same guidelines as cars and trucks.

There is nothing about a motorcycle to be taken lightly, they are powerful machines which require respect and focused attention.

That crazy stuff in movies and commercials, is best left for movies and commercials, in the real world it is a machine that should in every regard be respected and know what the bike can and what it can't do.
I'm not much of a fan of the crouch rocket type of bikes, they have amazing power and they are a different type of riding.

This is a Touring Bike, it was not built for speed racing, stunt riding, or any of such things, It's design is for Touring..

TOURING ( from wiki)

"Touring motorcycles commonly have large displacement fairings and windshields that offer a high degree of weather and wind protection, large-capacity fuel tanks for long ranges between fill-ups, engines with a great deal of low-end horsepower, and a more relaxed, upright seating position than sport bikes.

Full-dress touring motorcycles are generally characterized by extremely large fairings and ample bodywork compared to other types of tourers. Hard luggage, e.g. panniers and a top box, are integrated into the design of the motorcycle which usually has a very large displacement, torquey engine with a very upright, comfortable riding position.

I don't care for the costumes that some people adorn when they ride a Harley, I don't need to wear worn out jeans, Jackets with Club patches, or bandana's and such.. the Harley "tough guy" look is not something I aspire to. I don't see a need for the "Bad Boy Look", just to ride a Harley.

Some of the guys I see have that "tough guy look, but I also have a few black friends who make sure they have on well polished boots, well starched jeans and their clothes are very clean and very neat when they ride their bikes.
so, there are all different styles and looks, people take with them on the bike riding experiences.

I had a previous handle by that name, which I used for many years, and Chinese FriendFinder made it in-accessible.

I had maybe more than 20k posting on there, between blogs and comments. It has about 361 pages of blogs alone. not to mention the massive number of comments.

This is one of the earliest post I had under that title.

Meeting people should be as easy as greeting...It's nice to have profiles that say lots of things, but the fact is we don't know who's who until we talk.. and share communications.
I joined this because I assumed that the women who register are willing to meet, without a mountain of conditions or etc..but right or wrong.. this service could be great..
Hopefully, people who do sign up have no barrier's that can't be bridged..
I too notice that the guidelines emphasise making yourself dsound dynamic and excting and etc..which is all good..
But in real time living..it's about enjoying the moments of our living, and trying to express and share the realness of self. I did not assume this was a sight were Ego's were out front, because to meet with the openess to communicate.. does not leave room for ego's.. I am curious, regarding the age thing.. which .. this is a sight for adults, who are of legal age..therefore, understanding is what works best.

I recently traveled in Asia, and liked very much that age seemed not to be a factor.. which was very good, and the openness in other categories was very good.
I happen to Like the beauty of Asian women, and it's just a natural inclination for me...which is why I chose Asian friend finders... though I am yet to meet any responsive and expressive potentials.. but ... I'll work with it for this 3 month period and see how it turns out..
I must say there are some very attractive and appealing women who's pictures I have viewed.

Actually, I may have been on here well before 2005, because I moved here where I am now in 2005 and I'd been using Chinese FriendFinder long before I moved here.

It would be great if I could download all those writings..... many of them I saved, but not all of them... I do have a link that takes me to the blog...
