Weather

This time of year, the weather in this southern region, mirrors the weather in Bangkok.
It's flat out "HOT" !!!!!!!!

I was going to ride my bike to work today, but the heat is astounding !!! it will simply wear one out. especially not being acclimated to doing things in the raw heat.

One of the better things this heat is good for is, being in an air conditioned place with some good movies and a woman who enjoys "doing stuff"... maybe it would be good to be in a park by a lake, or such...

But, unlike Bankgok,, here this weather does not produce a lot of slim figured women out and about in nice summer heat wear with a willingness to simply do stuff

I guess over all, the dogs are content, I left the air on while I worked today, They went out for a short while when I came home, but they were more than ready to come back in ..... their tongues wagging even after the very short while outside. they were at the door, with that looks, as if to say, hurry up and open the door.

I guess I'll do a quick trip to the store on the bike since its after 8p, it might just be a bit cooler.

yes, I visited some of the wonderful sights a few years ago, and truly enjoyed the large variety of shopping places. ... I liked my visit, hope to go back at some point again.

They are amazing friends... of each other and with me

I think they understand very well, that the 100 degree temp. is just too much to go and lay around in.

It is however time to go and have their hair cut again, the cost now has gone up to $100 to have both of them groomed. ( my hair cut only cost a fraction of that, but I cut mine each week to 10 days, but over time, I'm sure mine is more costly than their when it all adds up).

one boy and one girl.... they are outside at the moment, greeting the birds and squirrels while checking out the yard in the early morning hours

    Quoting jmenyo:
We are having a typhoon today. Over here this summer is rainy and cool, not as hot as before. But some regions along the Yangze River have had an extremely hot temperature of over 40 degree celsius for almost 40 days. The place I live in is the so-called "Pearl River Delta", compare to Yangze River Delta, I don't understand why Yangze River Delta has a much hotter weather than my place, because we are in lower latitude, both get the influence of maritime climate. I can't find the answer.
I read about the heat wave in China, an article yesterday spoke about the year 2040 saying more parts of the world will be 'hotter"...
maybe we as people will develop 'heat resistant skin" or burn to a crisp

I don't think the world has enough 'fresh water" to endure expanded duration of intense heat.
There also was a writing which discussed and claimed that a extended drought may have taken out some the ancient Grecian people.

We are a very fragile being, when it comes to long duration imbalance in the atmosphere and the life sustaining resources. One day, 'FRESH" water may become the most valuable commodity on the planet.
