A joint Spanish and French police investigation has busted a gang that allegedly was smuggling Chinese citizens into Europe and the United States the Associated Press reports. The Spanish Interior Ministry says 75 people have been arrested, 51 in Spain and 24 in France, noting that s ome of the people trafficked ended up in the sex trade. Two people arrested in Barcelona are suspected heads of the organization in Europe. The gang's main European hub was Barcelona airport, which served as a stopping-off point for Chinese while false documents were prepared. The AP reports that the gang allegedly charged up to $66,700 to transport Chinese nationals to the U.S., Britain, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, and Turkey. People all over the world migrate and seek asylum for various reasons, most of them having to do civil unrest and war. The Guardian notes that almost 8,000 migrants and asylum seekers, the vast majority of which were from north Africa, landed on the coasts of southern Italy alone in the first half of the year, a ccording to the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR). On Saturday at dawn the 60-foot-long fishing boat carrying about 120 migrants ran aground about 40 yards from a beach near the city of Catania off Sicily . Six people, who were apparently unable to swim, drowned. (news). |

I don't know if my 2 cent has any thing to do with this blog any blog I post, people are free to talk about what ever it inspires them to talk about. _______________________ The Government is designed to be fair to people... its those who use the system to undermine the government, such as the executives and attorneys and those who want to manipulate the system for their personal gain at the expense of respecting the system. I'm not much in support of the anti-government people, nor am I a fan of the industries that fight against regulations which is designed to make a level playing field. I am not a fan of the wealthy who pay lobbyist to take away the voice of the people, nor am I a fan of politicians who accept lobbyist money to screw the people in order to favor the wealthy taking advantage of the people. People should be able to immigrate were ever they want, if they are willing to respect the system in the country they are immigrating to. If people don't respect the nature of the place they move to, then they probably should stay where they are. Some might not like these thoughts, but they don't have to like it. its my thoughts. This government system affords people a vast expanse of individual rights, it promotes respecting others who also respect the system and work within the system of the governments provisional design. yes, there are thing I might want to see different, such as, I think they should have more free flow things like the massage operations in say like Thailand, where they don't break the door down trying to see who is doing what. I would like to see banks regulated, with rate caps. I'd like to see insurance companies have fixed rate structure with rate caps, and enforcement of taxation on funds acquired by over charging and inflating rates. I'd like to see public traded companies, be regulated where CEO salary is capped, and stock options is banished for the executives, if it is a public company, then it should be managed to respect what that means in the sense profits should not go to the CEO in such volumes that gouge the company, and stock options should be made illegal. I think healthy people who get public support assistance, should be brought into a system where they give at least 20 hrs min. to some type of public service, and if they stay on it for more than a year, they should be required to put in 15-20 hrs in some training program, and then they are given one year to find a job after their training, if they don't find a job, then they are required to do 30-40hrs of public service work for the public support they get. If they are incapable of working, that is a different things. There is a disability program for them, but it should not be drawn from social security funds, but from a separate Federal Fund. If homosexuals can get married, then I think a man having two wives should be made legal as well. I think corporate crimes of executive theft and corruptions that destroy companies, should be considered as economic treason, Politicians should not be allowed to say in office more than 2-3 terms not to exceed 8-10 yrs. State colleges should be set at a fixed rate for its offered programs. with federal loans set at no more than 3%. Home loans should be handled by HUD, up to 750K... and payments made to HUD, and get the banks out of the Home loan business for any home under 750K.. and strong management of home price escalation, where property tax hikes are triggered if the value rises above x % in a fixed amount of time and capital gain tax,assessed if it exceed this x %... this will stabilize homes and make them stable assets, because home ownership is a national security concern and it should be considered as one. No person should ever be able to borrow more than 50% of their equity, this will insure they have retirement resource value left in their home at all times if they choose to sell it in their retirement years. Ban all these weird name chemicals from being put in food. Ban injecting livestock with growth hormones. Protect the Fresh Water, from contamination and excess usage by Fracking Operations and any other operations that contaminates the Fresh Water. Ban the use of Food Stamp cards at all places except designated grocery stores which sell products that are healthy, (no tv dinner and any other pre processed heat and eat or such things).. No more using them at convenience stores and such.

As for the food stamps? same thing with the sponsor. Pre processed food and such can not be bought with food stamps. heck, they even let the kids have these cards pursly to go on a snack shopping expedition  I've seen people with baskets full of this stuff, and use the EBT Cards ( modern day food stamp program)... I see people buy ICEE's and gum with the card and go into convince stores and buy multiple bags of over priced snacks. I see them go to "u buy, we fry" fish places and buy $30-$40 of this stuff at a time. they go to national chain grocery stores and local chain grocery stores and buy a great deal of TV dinners and other pre processed food stuff. We have a national problem with Obesity, and I see people ( black and white) who get several hundred dollars a month for their allotment, many people like to think this is a black issue, but I've seen more white in stores using this card in my area than blacks. They load the basket up with every kind of fat making food one can imagine, they walk past the vegetable section as if it does not exist. If the political people did not make money out of the way the program works, then it would have been fixed long ago. even when they had the milk and cheese program, the people who sold the milk and cheese to the government made a fortune and no one was the wiser to realize it, and these people supported the politicians who kept the program alive.

I think the US should stop with the 'business loan grants to immigrants" at access and rates that is not afforded or made available to American people. they even have a 'stabilization grant" some foreigners get, up to 50K... this should not be allowed nor made available. Many immigrants from the Vietnam/Cambodian immigration program in the 90's gave not only business loans with concessions on their business for 5 yrs., they gave them low 3% home loans, and in some cases they took over whole communities. I'm sure a lot of it was derived from the guilt about the war and what that war cost these people in their own land. I saw 747's full of immigrants arrive during the 1990's.. many who got the business loans opened up nail shops and doughnut shops, and when it was time to start paying at the regular rate, many simply closed the business, called it 'restructuring and they got another 5 yrs on their concessions. In some parts of LA for example, some immigrants who came during the 1980's and 1990's made out very well by playing this game.. When the Cuban Boat people came, Cubans were allowed to work 5 yrs with no tax taken out of their checks, people wonder how did they get ahead so quickly financially, but no one tells the real truth about it. Anyone can get ahead with 3% homes loans with no down payment, when everyone else was paying 8%+ and required to have 20% down payment, and when everyone else way paying income tax and these immigrants had 5 yrs of no tax taken from their money or they got back every penny that was taken out. I worked with some of the Cubans who told me these are the provisions they got. I lived across from some Cambodian people who told he how they got their business loan and their home loan... We have not began to see the vast volumes of people from Iraq and Afghanistan who will be coming under similar program, soon as all the conflict has subsided.

Actually, I'm in Louisiana, But in California its the same, people use those cards to buy all sorts of things, which don't fit into the 'healthy food" category. As to people, not just the Cubans but many foreign people got those benefits. but who could not get that level of assistance was poor whites and minorities..who are American Citizens. But the negative spill was always toward American minorities and poor whites, saying, 'Oh look, these (various immigrant) people came from (x) foreign land and they are doing better than the blacks, or they are doing better than the poor whites who are American... Well, I guess they are doing better than some of the black and some of the poor whites, when they have been given options and access and funding support and tax concessions, that some minorities and poor whites have no means to get. Some foreigners get more in Social Security payments, than American who have worked here all their life and contributed to the Social Security program. What was given to poor whites and minorities in America was, redlined communities where funding was denied, insufficient business loan, denied home loans, and low wage jobs with high level discrimination with lowered glass ceilings and denied education grants. Money was pumped into social programming, but drained off by the programs executive pay structure, and diverted away from the poor areas that were used to justify the funds in the first place. I have had many friends who worked in various program, who spoke of how the funds were diverted and used on the fringe area where the high end of the low income benefited and the lower end of the middle income benefited and the poor whom it was based upon get sub standard allocations, and quickly told that the funds are expended and nothing is available. But even after 100's of years of segregation denials, there was no program set up to offer minorities low interest home loans, or low interest business loans, when the civil rights laws were passed, the attitude was, Ok, now you have freedom, have at it, all the while when the mindset was, you might have freedom, but we have means to discriminate still. it then took, affirmative action to try and get some doors open, and when those doors opened the glass ceiling was lowered even lower, and if options came, it when to white women, if it could not be held by white men, and only a few token position given to minorities, and then it was given to minority women, because they were easier to control and dominate than were black men... The system of American madness is astounding in how it functions in process. Even now, with the Right Wing, their attitude is, we don't are about anything except our focus to insure this black man in office does not succeed with any level of ease and to insure that he does not succeed at all if the right wing can stop it. they don't care if China and any other people gain all of American, their mission is dead set on the long held focus to insure they make it as difficult for black minorities as possible. This was even the attitude during Jim Crow... and into much of the present day. (They) ( the establishment manipulators who are the wealth controllers) will ship every job away if it means insuring that minorities do not gain economic parity in the landscape of American. the general white male establishment does not see blacks as equal, and it is no way they would want to see blacks have economic parity with them, nor do they want to see women have economic parity... and there is no limits they will place in their acts and efforts to assure themselves of these aims. ( part 2) Look at your average news, they will not put any dark skinned black people on the news in prime time, and they hardly have any in non prime time, not behind the desk with the camera on them. when they show something about black women, they only want to show 'mixed race black women"... or black women who are very fat, because they will not show black women in any manner that will challenge of be on parity with the slim and polished image they want to project of white women. American designed bigotry and racism is very covert and in their manners and very determined in their aims and objectives. White men can kill up a mass of people, slaughter women and kill the whole family, and they will sanitize it, and claim its a medical condition, and treat it like an anomaly and say how they can't believe it happen. They can rob companies, be caught in every kind of corruption, insurance profiteering by killing their spouse and its all sanitized in the news, and they quickly want to move away from it. Look at the guy who shot up the movie theater, they quickly claim he was off his meds, but truth is the killer, planned it and had been planning on doing it for quite some time. But any black crime, they will push and promote it with everything they have and then infer by every means that they expect this and they think this is the way people are as if to tag and label a whole race. Go Yahoo,and read some of the comments posted any time anyone black in mentioned.Its like "Red Neck Tea Party_KKK Central", as if they are a direct offshoot of Fox News... They would like to claim blacks are the biggest users of public services, but that is not even a remote possibility, when there is only 32 million blacks to more than appx. 200 million whites and at least 70 million whites or more who use public assistance. The reason that the medical care act passed, is only when whites lost their jobs and lost their company paid medical coverage, only then did they realize the need for national medical services reforms. It is mostly the whites who still have medical services paid by their employer who fight against national health care reform. Poor whites who have nothing, know they need the university medical hospitals and they use them in vast numbers, because they can't and some never could get job sponsored medical services. Suddenly when the Job exodus hit the disaster of 2008, then and only then did whites realize the value and need of national medical services. Aany Asian don't say much about things, because it was during the segregation years, as long as they remained silent they were allowed a certain level of accessibility ahead of minorities of black ethnicity, Even in Jim Crow, Asian were allowed to sit ahead of blacks on the bus. They would still have their business patronized by whites, as long as they 'so called, stayed in their place". But if they voiced any concerns about discrimination, they would find the wrath would then include its focus on them. Some areas the Asian groups did speak up, but these were areas where they were so devastated because they were contained in predominantly Asian communities and the impact of such forced them to have no choice but to speak up. But sadly, they have division in their communities, because one ethnic group does not like the other and some look down on certain ethnic groups, and the same thing was true with the Latin people. Now many Latin people found a way to buy up some communities until they got politic voice, they patronized business primarily of other Latin people until they gained enough resources to dominate communities, and they had enough babies to have population numbers that helped their cause. During the 1980's everyone wanted to hire a Latin "Gardner", or a Latin "House Keeper" or a Latin "Handy Man" and many of the Latin men or famines lived in group home like setting, in high volumes until they could find a way to buy something of their own, Some of them had many babies, so they received high volumes of county money, and when they got the mass and volume of numbers, and used a lot of public services so they could save what they earned on the side, then they became to demand to be paid a legal wage for their work, when that happen, all hell broke loose and the immigration things went into over drive,. Then as more and more whites lost their jobs and could not afford to hire the Latin labor, and found out these Latin people wanted to be paid more, along with the fact the Latin people had saved their money and focused on patronizing each other for goods and services, the backlash against Latin people went into full over drive. At one point as long as people could hire them cheap, no one cared how many came across the border, but when the jobs were shipped away and cities realized the income base was gone, then they focused on the high volume of Latin people who now filled the public services emergency rooms and medical facilities. Then the focus became on illegal immigration. During the 1970's when the Iranians owned all the of the "no big brand name gas stations", they were supported in doing so, because OPEC was new and strong and no one knew how to deal with that change in oil company challenges. But by the 1990's when the white male system figured out how to deal with OPEC, suddenly all the Iranians owned gas stations disappeared and the Big Name Convenience store gas stations took over. Before TSA, the airport security was dominated by Filipino people, once TSA came into being and the pay increased for these jobs, the Filipinos were gone and these jobs are now filled by white people, especially in the management roles and many of the screening roles. In the South, there was a time, it was very rare to see white men with trucks loaded down with "lawn cutting equipment", but now days they figured out the Latin and blacks who were doing lawns were making good money, now the areas are dominated by white men with lawn services trucks and equipment. Wait until the pay increase in the garbage truck operations, then these jobs will be taken over by white men... This is the cycle of what takes place in America. When China falters and other locations are found with cheap labor, the Chinese won't be the new "Darlings of America' anymore". Because it happen to the Japanese, when the Japanese were the 'darlings of the moments", Chinese were considered at the bottom, along with Korean people. This is the nature of the American system. it was converted to a system of bias, when it first embraced the ideology of slavery and indentured servitude and only white men were counted as person and allowed to vote as person, along with that white men were given every options of "first accessibility and the system of entitlement to have first options on anything and everything". Time and things are pushing hard to break this system of madness down, the progress so far is showing that the Republican Machine has fractures in its framework, and the more people stand against it, the more it will fracture until it breaks... Then America can move to becoming more of a nation of equality in a variety of categories. There are many white people who support the day to come, when the system changes and become more fair in design and function, because they know it is not right and they don't like the bigotry within the current Right Wing policies and ideals. Some whites no longer fear retribution from the bigoted whites and the racist whites, as they once did. it is becoming more and more that many many white people are backing away from 'following along' with bigotry and racist policies... There was a time when liberal and equality minded whites were in as much fear of the KKK and Confederate types as were minorities .... but that is changing . Sadly, some Asian who immigrate become more prejudice and racist than even the old Jim Crow Southern Whites were... Some will do anything to be accepted by white people which includes over demonstrations of their racial bias against any people of dark skin. Some bring that with them, because in many Asian countries, they are very bias and bigoted toward dark skin people of their own ethnicity. It's like and insane joke of some sort. some of the girls find out the hard way, where they stand, during college they make good playmates for the elite wealthy white males, but when college is over, he is not going to take them home to his elite community and say, Hey Mom, hey Dad, look here's my girlfriend and I'm going to marry her. There are many many things about the race elements in America people like to pretend to ignore but they know its real, and some act shocked when they come face to face with the reality of it. As more time passes things of this nature of bigotry and bias will have no options but to change.

It leaves the impression that most Asians will follow in lock step with white America and distance itself from a "minority" status, but this is not true. When you really get to know people they will let you know there views. Interesting point, and very good depiction of perspectives. Much is promoted in the media of Asian women with white men... but there are many Asian men who have good relations with other nationalities and ethnicity of people far beyond just with white people. Even in areas when the white dominated some Asian regions by National control, the women were more accepted by the men, because they were women, but the bias shown toward the Asian man was in many cases horrendous... Why the Asian woman does not see or know this is itself interesting. Not all Asian's are blinded to see only the white ethnicity, some have a very broad regard for other ethnicity's. I again recall in Thailand, some of the guys I met who lived there, whom were non white... had interesting relations with some of the Thai woman.. I had some Thai women tell me, that they felt these men treated them with respect as equals and they knew they could rely on these men to help them as well as look out for them. When I was in HKG, I met a woman, whom gravitated to me, when a great many white guys from Europe and other places were pursuing her... she told me that she liked the way I treated her. It is certainly all about getting to know people, as individuals.
