..... Greed... (it's a sickness)

It's a tragedy... but there are differences in how it plays out.

Once upon a time people built in America because they believed in America and built to strengthen it and make it a beacon of progress. Today... people don't build, but Hoard, because they don't believe in America, they believe in selfish greed and profit at any expense. they will sell anything and leave anything unmaintained and rip off any project contract until the project stalls before it breaks ground.

We don't have the efficiency of China, when it comes to building, We have a government system which is continually attacked by the anti-government right wing, whom gridlocks the process while they plot to steal and seek ways to indenture people to the wealthy.

We are now a third rate country when it comes to infrastructure development, we can't even repair and maintain what our predecessors built. A crumbling Nation.

Yes, there is global greed, but some places have figured out how to make it improve their nation. Such as Dubia, and China and Much of the Asian Pacific Nations.

Europe and America is still hung up on the pursuit of indenturing its poor whites and minorities. They cannot grow, because they seek to recreate the past. They can't grow because they don't respect all its people as Europeans and likewise so for America, they don't respect all its citizens as Americans.

China, on the other hand has a deep appreciation and respect of its people as Chinese and the Chinese people have a deep appreciation of being Chinese. The government of China invest to build up China... American on the other hand, supports criminal greed, degree riders ripping off the system and avarice based corporate structures, that sell delusions and shams so over zealous speculator can create ponzi schemes with stocks and other commodities... We are reduced to a fake paper shuffler, living on borrowed money that we can't repay.

Industrial Growth is the Only Answer... No country can survive nor prosper unless it produces what its population consumes.

We have dumb Economist trained in University that aspire to teaching methods to dupe and Indenture people to the wilds of the wealthy and people in masses submit to the ignorance any man in a suit with a microphone has to say.
The Young graduates, come with a delusion of entitlement, and ego supported by a certificate ready to rip off, collude and systematically loot any entity they come in contact with. all for a big house a car and vain delusion of popularity.
We see it in our reality TV programming, the level of buffoonery that people will go for money and popularity.

Time has brought the system build of ignorance to consume itself. The ignorance of greed, the ignorance of bigotry, the ignorance of racism, the ignorance of governance and regulatory respect....

Even the system of male and female relationship has been reduced to a 'bartering game" of covert hoo(ers and covert John's... who fight like wild beast when the money runs out.

People parade around in designer clothes, which is like a pack of wolves attiring themselves in sheep's clothing.

Claiming dignity and character, while they plot and plan to deceive and encroach by any means to loot what ever they can by any means they can.

..... Greed ......... the force of a nations self destruction.

Why the American Empire Was Destined to Collapse
Author and social critic Morris Berman says the fact that we're a nation of hustlers lies at the root of our decline.

We are at our core a nation of hustlers; not recently, not sometimes, but always. Conventional wisdom has it that America was predicated on the republican desire to break free from monarchical tyranny, and that was certainly a factor in the War of Independence; but in practical terms, it came down to a drive for "more" -- for individual accumulation of wealth.

I certainly would like to be paid more for my skills and services, I do a good job regardless of the pay, I know I'm tremendously under paid,

China may build but they also have a "who's palm you grease" policy.

The end result is they get their projects built... or they will hold someone accountable. That's the big difference and the difference that matters... they are functional...

We on the other hand, have a nation of executive thieves, scam artist and greed gougers who defeat this nation at every chance they get... We don't have the nationalized sense of Integrity in our executive suites. nor in our congress. We have degree riding clone trained robbers.... who destroyed everything those who came before them had built.

Last night I watch the hearing about the Health Care Program... The Republicans were mean spirited and in full attack mode. A few Democrats called them on it, and said, the Republican mission is single focused and aim to destroy the program. The vile in the Republican Party is visible for the world to see, when they shut down the government behind their bigoted mindset. The world saw their regime start two wars, we are still trying to get out of one and still paying for the both. We saw and the World saw Republican fight against Banking Reforms, Fought against Wall Street Reforms and Fought against Housing Refinance Reforms, They fought against the Jobs bill....
Many Republican led states have tied up Stimulus money and produced nothing, but continue to drain off and steal as much as they can with excuses and delays... But the world is looking and they see it.

IF this nation can get rid of the right wing mentality, this nation could flourish.... but how do you fix greed and stupidly.... ??? Right winger seem to fail to understand we will not return to a Jim Crow Society, nor will women give up their rights and the people won't continue to stand for wall street destroying Industry.. It takes American's too long to get out of denial mode and wake up... Eventually they will, but sadly so much damage will have been done, until it will take exactly what President Obama said to fix this nation.. and that is Rebuild it from the bottom up... Republican fought that too. ... and still fight it...

Every study has shown that wealth in the hands of a few is a detrimental to the entire nation. But we have nothing but hoarders chasing their avarice mentality aims... blind to the damage they do.

Asian nations won't stop growing .... they know they have a mass of people to build for, they may not stop corruption, but corruptions does not curtail growth... odd as it may seem, they council to build and grow in spite of corruption. Yes, they have a problem with income desparity, but they are also moving more and more people from poverty to a functioning life... it may not be extravagant, but they are impacting the poverty conditions.
Very different pictures.... no place is perfect nor will any place be or become perfect, but what does matter is the people who make up the nation. Why politicians forget that soon as they get in office is itself a travesty. "power in the hands of individual man is very dangerous and often times very destructive"

By far we have the best system of options for people and generalized freedoms. The issue I have with the US is the Republican Agenda. It is exactly as you have said and as I've written often..The republican have a confederacy minded base, who has never accepted the Civil War and Antebellum is gone forever. Plain and simple. They simply can't digest that.
President Clinton himself said, he don't think anyone could have done the Job President Obama has done. today, they listed the deficit is lowered by right at 1/2 billion dollars. The lowest it has been in 5 yrs. The stock market is higher than its ever been, the housing situation is more stable than its been over a number of years, The nation has rebounded from a depression to one that is functioning, Health Care is on track to have a program that can only improve over time. . President Obama achieved all these things with Republicans attacking him at every turn. We are no longer at War In Iraq, Bin Laden was caught the same way President Obama said he would go after him, and he did not spend 3 trillion dollars to do it. He used a scapulae approach, exactly as he said he would and not a broad ax pursuit. He fought for the people to get unemployment and food stamps during the toughest part of the depression, the republicans wanted to take it away from people and give themselves and the wealthy another tax break.

My issue with industry is they don't put seasoned professionals in position, they put these fresh out of college kids who think its all about a big house, fancy dining and flashy cars and over priced clothes, and they will sell or do anything for a pat on the back and a bonus. This is what is hurting America. We have a system that is too caught up in things like facebook and twitter and playing games on cell phone, along with reality TV... We need to get back to a sense of responsibility.

America has everything it needs, but the greedy are too busy seeking to recreate an Antebellum system, by seeking slave labor wages on foreign soil. They don't know how to respect the system we have and the nation we live. They allow greed to be their greatest goal. This hurts all American people.

Never in the history of this nation has so many people been chasing so many over priced Mansions, yet they don't build industry nor do to support many of the community based programming that once made cities strong.

We let the media feed us drama, to the point people detest thinking, and if anything is said that consist of more than 140 character, and wrapped in slap stick humor, peoples brains go to sleep and they get stressed out.
We use to be a nation of builders with creative ideas, and small business was about strengthening the community. Now stock brokers hound these business to go public, and then over trade the stock and force them to take out loans they can't pay, then they crash the market and sell of the company or sell off the parts.

Many Republican don't seen to have much in-depth knowledge about the things they jump on and push their drama game... when they are faced with facts, they get selective Amnesia and they follow that up with a denial based mentality that refuse to see beyond their own bigotry and greed angles.

We will as a nation make the corrections, and within the time between now 2016 President Obama will make more achievements for the American people and it will be done while the republicans are attacking his plans from every angle.

Research and Development has many many things in the pipelines for the future, and within the next couple of years we are destined to see some miraculous things take shape in America. For one the public is getting very tired of the Tea Party and Republican Ignorance.

Actually in many ways we do have a great system... that does not mean that it works to the level of greatness that it is "capable of".
some places have system that are quite similar and some do work to a level of their capability for better than we embrace our capabilities.

You are exactly correct to question the statement on its functional capability level. nevertheless it is a great system. but poor in meeting it capability.
But if you note, that is exactly what most of this writing equally has done, is to discuss the failures of meeting its capability, which is why the blog post speaks about greed, bad politicians, bigotry, racism and all the things that diminish the capability of the system to be as great as it could potentially be.

If you notice in various post I speak about the performance of China when it comes to developmental building. They may not have the same freedoms afforded to its people, but in the area of development they are by far more robust in achieving a higher level of capability in infrastructure developments.

We are by far a great system in the design, but we fall way short in function to meet capability of what we could be.
