"Thanksgiving- was Great" !!! Visited a relatives home for Thanksgiving, he just bought his first home this year, of which I have much respect for him planning, saving and having done so ! He cooked, it was an amazing array of Dinner Variety in choice and he did great preparations. He has he fought for custody and he is raising them well, they are doing well in school and have great discipline in manner and conduct. It was a delight to see him achieve the goal of preparing dinner for the family in his new home. He cooked the dishes as his mother and grandmother had taught him and he pointed out how he relied on what they had taught him to prepare it all. "They would be proud" !!!!! and so am I of him.... |

Family gathering holiday time is good.... not drama, no conflicts ....

Seeing him do so in his own home was great, his mother passed when he was young, and he is a very self motivated minded man, with a great character and integrity and smiles easy and, handles his responsibilities... respectfully.

My sister has all the old family recipes and it is a joy to visit her during the holidays. There are so many traditions and celebrations we take for granted and place importance on things that have no real value. The holidays for me can be a time of joy but also one of sadness as i have lost most of my family around the holiday season. I am glad you had a good time and the holiday was meaningful for you.
