communicate but not talking

Hello,
How are you ? Glad that you are still with me, and thank you for your time reading my post.

We are living in an information or internet age and we now converse via electronic device-computer,mobile phone, etc.

No more seeing face to face and hear your friend's voice.

What do you think about this?

Electronic communication is a mixture of much, which can be beneficial as well as it can be detrimental, depending on how its utilized.

Embellishments and drama can easily become the tools potential in usage aims, which impact and influence the attitudes within people, before they even see one another face, or hear the inflections in voice, or feel the physical presence of each other.

some however, do share info, exchange info, explore info and engage to promote the sharing of info. many however, to seek drama, and fantasy of drama, and when or if they meet, they fade away becomes they expect what their mind has made them conjure, until they can't see to engage the reality that presents them in face to face realism.

some good aspects of the electronic function is that in some cases, male and females interact, where in the physical social work, many times, the female act like they live in a different planet, walking around too hung up and stuck up to speak, and acting like they can't take the initiative to start a conversation, and playing the coy silent role, trying to rely on pretending to be mysterious as an allure, and then find a dumbfounding situation of many things, when they are approached.
equally so, men who may come across with more embellishment and denials of their own thoughts, to appear appeasingly constricted to function in a situation where the judgment is more harsh than what may be viewed and engaged in a face to face.

electronic communication is many things.

Fads dominate, many text, where they could very easily just talk, and many talk where it may be more appropriate to text. We have things like twitter, that gives the illusions of being interactive, by reporting everything thing one does, and facebook, with 20 word tid bits, and people claiming thousands of friends, who not only do they not know, they don't interact with a great % of them. but people feel connected. without any motivation to actually connect in physical presence

electronic communication is a mixture of much, which can be beneficial as well as it can be detrimental, depending on how its utilized.

Hi,

dcba : thank you for your comment.

Goannaoil : YEs, it is true. We could be in touch although we are far apart.

Beyondfantasy3 : What you said is also not wrong, especially about facebook friends, most of them we hardly know, if one keep on inviting new friends. It is good to make contact. No harm at all. It is also important to be able to see them face to face and that is humanizing.

There is a saying, to make friends, be a friend yourself.
Make the first move!

Regards,
from us here.
