Dress for Success!

Dress for Success!

So many people don't dress properly when they show up at Dating events, that I have seen. I like to see men in suits, dress pants, nice dress shirts, leather shoes, as oppose to T-shirts, shorts, flipflops.

Women should take a better effort also to fix their hair, wear some make-up, jewelry, dresses, nice pumps or leather sandals. If you are going to a Gala, then bring out or buy that Little Black Dress or Gala evening gown.

You can go get a free make over at the department store Cosmetics counter.

I went to get my eyebrows fixes at Macy's and also got the free Make-over. They did put too much eye shadow on me, but I was going to Co-Host a dating event, so it wasn't too much makeup.

When you dress for success, as if you are going to a job interview, you will attract more people of the opposite sex. It can make you feel confident too.

Hi Gangama
It's Sugi. Sugar is what my brother uses as his nickname. Sugi is what my dad used in the Army during the Korean War. Thank you for the nice comments. I love looking at well dressed men, with suits, designer wear or wool coats on.

I'm on AsiaFriendFinder since I'm single right now and newly divorced in 2010. I'm free at last!

Also I can hopefully give some one-on-one advice to other Middle aged divorced people or young Singles, via chat, and enjoy blogging so much now. I'm inspired to write, after years of not being able to express myself much while married.

I'm Co-hosting some Dating events in the Seattle Area, beside attending a few too. But since this platform in Online, there's only so much I can help out, as a volunteer, without pay.

You first have to find out where the date is going to be. If it's hiking, then hiking clothing, boots, pack back. Some guys might take women to sports games, so then it's jeans, summer shirt and T-shirts for summer.

If it's going to a casual restaurant or night market, then casual summer dress or warm skirt and boots if it's cold in your country.

If it's for a nicer 4 Star Restaurant, then Little Black Dress, or leather skirt. Then later if it's a Charity Gala at a nice Hotel, then Semi-Formal evening Gown.. So build up your wardobe accordingly to have a variety of outfits that mix and match you know.

As for Make-up it's a personal thing. So some women don't wear any Make-up at all. My mom just wore lipstick, so I had no role model in how to wear make-up until maybe 7th grade the offered some Modeling classes. But I didn't get into wearing eye liner, with shadow until recently. If you go to Dept. Store they will do a Make over for free.

I wear more heavier Makeup at Singles, or Dating mixers or events and have several leather skirts to wear for Fall. For Spring and Summer, I like to wear bright colors. I also can't afford a designer bag, So what I do it shop at Thrift shops and buy several purses to change them over, so I have variety. Some women spend too much money in Asia and Japan on Designer bags.

For me it's the style of the handbag that I look for to match my coats or outfits. For Galas, I have several smaller cocktail purses.
I also have a lot of shoes and my size is 4.5. So I don't have much choice here in Seattle, U.S. with tiny feet and I can't wear kids' shoes like some people might suggest. Since kids' shoes don't have high heel pump or Sexy shoes and they are wider too.

It's up to you to create your own Brand and style!
