Being a really great guy

What the hell is that,
It’s a crime, in a relationship.
You save up , all year so can visit some one,
You fly overseas 10 to 14 hours, waiting in Airports,
You spend hours looking for the right kind of gifts to buy,
Reading cards that will always say how you feel,
Never forgetting special Birthdays, Aniversarys
Think of new ways to surprise them ,
To show how much you care ,
And say sorry for not being there , as often as you would like,
Four weeks a year , and long service, ( for working 10yrs )
Is the times I can be there,
Money is never a indication of someone’s true worth,
Iv’e spent all I have and more, and gladly do it again,
It’s what you do when you want to be with some one that is amazing,
Means the world to you, when no one else could see their worth,
I did, and still do,
You send boxes of things at Xmas, so it can be special.
You try and make each event romantic, dinners , motels,
Making memory’s that will last forever to treasure.
And when your told your not wanted anymore.
You’re really a great Guy.
Seems a pretty worthless endeavour,
Might as well do what I was first asked, Are you here for just fun, less painful.

one must give as much as they can within loving, but insure not to neglect self. We all want to give a great deal when we are in love, but time helps us learn that we must do all things in moderation, this too, includes giving, lest we give more than we are able and result to be neglectful of self.

We can't win love, nor do we need to be driven by any attempts to convince another of our love, Love is about sharing, not acts of convincing... If the other meets our sharing, that is itself love's convictions unto what is loving.
