Gettng old is a new beginning

I feel getting old is not all about giving up fun in life or feel sorry for not being able to do things as one did when one was young.
In fact life presents more challenges, hard work, and positive attitude to continue to enjoy life as we were young.
Never ever look life of getting old as a defect but a new beginning to new adventure.

Age is a physical process that everything goes through.

Look at the stars in our universe and see how they have matured into beautiful galaxies and nebula. Imagine the mess it was like right after the Big Bang.

Look at our own planet and the eons it took to build Mount Everest and the Hawaiian Islands. In my eyes things get better with age.

Look at it on the human level, when we are younger we certainly had more stamina and greater physical strength, but now we know how to use our strengths more efficiently. We have learned how to make and use tools that multiply my strength.

Our ability to evolve mentally, physically. spiritually and emotionally are the greatest strengths of any age.

On the flipside there is an old German anecdote that says "Too soon old. too late smart"

    Quoting  :

Good quote that life begins at forty and before that is just doing research.

This is quite profound for me because I went back to University and got my degree at 40.

Not sure if I agree with the show not ending as long as the heart is beating thought. I've known people dying of cancer that wished the show would end, but the heart beats one more day and the day is agony. My mom was in hospice care for three weeks before she passed.

I once knew a man in his 80's with cancer and didn't want to go on. With spring coming on his son wanted him to do the annual planting of crops on their small farm. On the day of the planting the son went to his father's home and found him on his back stairs dead. Everyone thought the dad lost his mind and by mistake he fell asleep outside. In my mind I knew he was fully aware of what he was doing because if he planted the crops he would have to see them through to harvest and he didn't want to live that long. Very sad but very brave to deal with death on his own terms.

So my dear pinkcrystal I hope you sleep more, eat healthy and go for a walk so you will be able to fulfill your desire of a good quality of life as long as your heart beats strong.

Getting older comes with many things, hopefully a mindset to deal with it from a standpoint of wisdom and self management, because it is for certain, the body will change, but the fact is it did not change all at once, it does so on a daily basis... We learn more about our bodies as time comes and goes.
We also learn things we may have lso can make us susceptible to many things, especially the invincibenefited greatly in the health spectrum, if we'd known such things in youth,

Everything about our bodies has to be used frequently, as they say if you don't use it, you loose it, and in some areas if we don't use the whole body, it does gain weight in area that have various other side effects on many parts of the body.

Certain things are highly prone based on age, ( surely many conditions come into play), but age does make us susceptible to various things. funny in a way, because youth able and dare based mentality that we often embrace in youth.

At no point in life is everything a dream sequence of perfection, it simply does not exist... We live continually with an adjusting mindset to what time brings.

What is very interesting about age and youth, they are married in many ways..... to the whole of the individual.... this equally so is why age has so little impact on people loving, it's always about their appreciations and communications...
