Putin is ultimately going to set himself up to be taken out, and it might come at the hands of the Russian people. Arrogance of his sort has a definite end game. He has cost a lot of his enterprises both legit and criminal ones to loose a lot a money. I'd be surprised if he makes it another year. There are many in Russia who detest the idea of the old Soviet Days and Ways, and they are in no way interested in a return to that ideology. Putin may be on the pathway of dying by a thousands razors and he just has not realized it, because he has bought into his own hype. Political removal of these types in this region is nothing new, the people of these regions won't publicize their aims to bring his demise. It will happen by their means and their methods. Then, the cheer of him being gone will be loud across the lands of Russia.
