I did a similar blog last week asking my readers if they would lie about their age to catch a younger mate. Unfortunately, there were no responses. My opinion is that a lie is a lie... If you start a relationship on a lie, you must be prepared to expect more lies in the future. In this website, there is no restriction for age group. If a 70 year old man wants to contact a 30 year old woman, he is allowed to do it. On another website I'm a member of, there is a maximum of 14 years difference. The owner of the website believes the members were misusing the site for 'hookups' and not love relationships. So he changed the rules. If the members are more than 14 years difference, they cannot exchange mail. Now, I see (more) older men lie and say they are younger. Also some younger Asian women are actually saying they are older because they want to correspond with a man 15-20 years older than them, but the system restriction doesn't allow it.
