one of the safest way to protect your car :)

Heavy rains leading to heavy floods would be a big headache to you especially with your personal stuff like car/s
Many people here are getting ready for the coming rain and strong wind from typhoon. So they try their best to keep their stuff safe... as soon as possible ...
they bring their very important stuff to higher places just in case the rain wont stop
and lead to flood
My friend of mine just sent me this pic showing a car inside a big plastic bag as a protection from flood i dunno if this would be effective...hope so after the flood the car is still there.. no damages... not even wet esp its parts even the battery which is very important to start the car as well as the engine
ok next time try to put the whole house in the plastic bag.. that would be great I guess

Also, try to live on higher ground when selecting a home.

(On my street, there are some lower areas, and a few years ago water flooded the lawns and entered under peoples front door)

So far my house is on a slightly higher section of the street where the water drains away and down the street. .

I've seen people buy homes that are in the lower parts of a recess in the community slopes. It looks great when the weather is fine, but under conditions of heavy rain, it is a disaster awaiting to happen.
